I really don't know how anything anarcho- or libertarian gets considered left without using a pretty unusual definition of those terms. I guess they are considered left in that they don't necessarily believe in capitalism. But in broader terms it is the government that imposes restrictions that prevent everything from being laissez-faire capitalism. The two churches in my community are so good at taking care of needy folks. I donate to them as often as I can because I see the good work they do. I’m an atheist, but they’re always so happy to see me show up to their events. Small community churches are crucial. They shouldn’t be painted with the same brush as mega churches.
