Wow, this is so beautiful! And with all this work, even if it was for a special event, I would still keep it in until it didn't look good anymore haha I have an idea for y'all about getting wax out. I haven't used wax in my hair before, but as a beekeeper, I've dealt with a lot of sticky, waxy things, and for me, the best way to get that off any surface is oils. So I would suggest before even washing it with water, saturate the hair with whatever your favorite oil is. (Not an oil mixture, but a straight oil, like coconut, olive, almond - whatever you like.) Then you might put a shower cap on or something and let it sit for 30-60 minutes. Kind of like a regular oil treatment. So that way, the oils have time to bind to the waxy substances, and it's nourishing your hair at the same time. And then, like I'm sure you know this trick, but again, before even putting water on the hair at all, just lather the shampoo straight onto your hair with the oil and wax, and massage that all through. THEN rinse with water. And like she said, you might want to then shampoo again for good measure, or until the hair feels clean. But I think this should be a good way to do it without a lot of damage or discomfort. Again, what a cool piece! It's amazing how something that looks so simple can have so many layers.. like life, I guess haha

I especially enjoyed finally understanding 1, how to break up the ponytail into parts in order to get the optimal sleekness, and 2, the detail of how to get all of the braid to fluff by clipping it off and doing it in sections. I feel like when I’m doing this I go up and down repeatedly because when one part fluffs the other takes away from it. So thank you for explaining this! Your videos always provide excellent training and explanation! ❤❤❤

Yes it can be done without beeswax but the beeswax helps to mold and give it the shine. I recommend using a hair detox to break the product down before washing

I try many different styles on my daughter and myself and I only using like a jam or an edge control to mold the hair, but now I am going to try a wax the next time I do a style. My only thing with this was the loose ponytail. Watching it I felt like a fishtail ponytail would have been cute or maybe even a bun. I just feel like some synthetic hair tangle easy. I think it’s just based on client preference. Please keep posting informative videos I truly enjoy them.
Yes I’m on the same page with you with the ponytail. It’s hard to do the fishtail with that ponytail, that’s why my last sleek ponytail I wrapped 2 ponytails instead of one and that made it easy to do a fishtail. And yes synthetic hair should not be left out like that, I don’t recommend it! But that’s for watching and suppprting. 🫶🏾
