Thank God this video exists. I lost one of my chicks in my house, and thus, the video helped me find it because it also responded to the hen's call.
Same just rescued my chick with it. She escaped the backyard and went missing for a few hours.
3:38 did it protect it's sibling? Cute
Tough
That's gotta be a baby rooster lol...most females would be too docile to be like that
No, if you notice where the rooster is pecking on the ground before the chick comes running over, the chick saw that as a sign there is something good there and just wanted to see if the rooster was eating something yummy. When I hand raised my chicks I had to teach them to peck for food, and so I’d tap the ground to get their attention, it’s a natural instinct.
H😮😮😮7777😮7😮7&😮
0:40 She didn’t just step on her chick 💀
I just let my baby chicks listen to this and they all are now like “WHERE IS SHE?!?”
This will sound bizarre but I've tried making that clucking sound you hear the hen makes in this video when she's pecking the seeds on the ground to actual baby chicks and they knew the sound meant "come eat this" and came looking for food. Apparently one can learn to speak chicken lmao
@@chandranapier2259 I’m talking to my chickens rn so it’s not strange
@@mckyla7575 They do seem to have their own language, kinda. Certain clucks and lengths of their sounds chicks seem to know right out of their shells. They make calls that tell each other there might be danger, food, “come here” can vary when talking to chicks or hens. My parents thought I had lost my mind but I could call baby chicks pretty easy.
@@chandranapier2259I tried making the sound and it got my hens attention but they looked at me like I was retarded lol
@@Odie1057 it’s more for babies rather than grown hens. I love making noises at hens and watching them get confused.
No racism and gender problem. Such a great life they have!
When I incubator hatched my chicks I tried to make the hen clucking sound that signals for food and used my fingers into a 'beak' and pecked at the food...it worked. It was hilarious and wonderful
I just whistle apple default ringtone and they still come to me to this day even though they are already 4 years old
😂😂😂😂😂

Doing that now with my incubated chicks
Мы в деревне имитировали многие подобные звуки. Как звуки предупреждающие о хищнике, например. И это срабатывало.
Это удивительно, сколько у них разных сигналов.
Baby chicks live with their parent ❣️ so cute! 3:01even sister
*The struggle, of the hen, to raise her chicks, in a universe uncaring, the despair.. and hopelessness.. it makes me grieve for humanity.
(*If you read it in Werner Herzog's voice it totally works.)
Playing this for a little chick that’s sick and can’t be with the mother. Thought this might be comforting for it.
Not necessary. Brds do not have emotions.
@@unknownkingdomYes they definitely do
@@Jesuslovesyou.7 they do not, and this is a proven scientific fact. Take your ignorance elsewhere.
@@unknownkingdom Well show me those scientific facts because it's clear that you've never had birds as pets.
@Jesuslovesyou.7 Bird behavior is explained entirely by instinct: Hunger, survival, mating, and so on. They do not have emotions. Your petty remark about pet ownership is irrelevant. Humans that interact with animals frequently project their own emotional on the animals, or interpret instinct driven animal behavior as if the animal was acting rationally, emotionally, etc. Total rubbish.
They are so damn cute, its too bad that they taste so good
That's why they produce so quickly LOL
Lol
I have a chick that had to be removed from the coop when it was newly born.
It had yucky eyes and one of its eyes is missing. I was afraid it was sick and I didn’t want my other chicks to get whatever it had. Now I think maybe one of the other hens pecked it and got it’s eye.
But because it was newly hatched I had to bring it in and put it under a heat lamp. I didn’t have the heart to put it down, but I wasn’t sure it would survive.
And because it’s alone I decided to play your video for it so that it could hear a mother hen and other chicks. I play it all the time. My chick peeps back. It’s so cute.
hows it doing now?
@@codyluvvr it’s doing great. But it only has one eye. It’s a rooster. I’m going to have to find someone who wants a “challenged” rooster. If I let it out in my yard my other chickens and rooster will pick at it. If I bring it inside I have two dogs that I found out are not chicken friendly.
You are kind for giving it a chance at life ❤ 🐓
I was wondering if it was a rooster, and thank you for confirming. I have a teenage rooster that won't stop pecking (if given the access and opportunity) at one of my newly hatched chicks, and i suspect it is because it's a cockerel. You know, something like killing off the competition. It only happened when i tried to introduce them to each other, and have since separated them again. @@TM-bc6ld

Beautiful chickens
superb!!!❤️from india
Those chicks are well trained. They will make excellent soldiers in my army of killer birds 🐥
it’s sad chickens rarely have full or connected families
And their relatives don't visit them, too 😀
In Miami there's a lot of wild chickens. Maybe feral is the correct term. Anyway I see them all the time when I take walks outside. Because they tend to stay in the same areas, I have come to recognize the same chickens and flocks. It is fun to watch what they naturally do when not interfered with by humans.
This reminds me of Fowl Weather (1953) starring Sylvester the Cat & Tweety Bird
Interesting. It’s like a higher pitch cluck
This reminds me of Eggnapper (1961)

Is anyone gonna talk about 0:42 and 1:00
There's a saying that says a mother chicken's kick will not kill it's chick
What i meant was that the mom steped on the chick not about the hen killing the chick anyways thanks for talking about it!
@@UfcAsahi No prob bruv
