Perkins came in the league out of high school and he was only good for like 2-3 years max.. He was being hidden because he was surrounded by all the fame players. Barkley has a point about talent. However, I wonder how many games the Serbia team has played together under their coach. Having less talent but knowing each other as teammates made the game closer. In the end the talent won out but don’t sleep on the importance of being a team.

Perkins was a role player. He didn't have to score on the teams he played for and it doesn't take away from being good enough to play and start on an NBA team. Something that people may not have paid attention to is that the Dream Team full of defenders with a defensive minded coach in the Bad Boys Chuck Daly. 6 of the all time leaders in steals. And our smallest guy Stockton was the all time steals and assists leader. No man on that team was gonna let anyone in the world outshine them on that court. Imagine starting Bam, Tatum, Halliburton, Booker, and White just to run a press for the first 3-4 mins, only to sub in Embiid, Bron, KD, Jrue, and Steph after wearing you down
