Not sure how many times in the past couple of years I have watched this video series :) but I guess it's time I should be making a neck or two :). Great info Bill, thank you. By the way, where did you get the inserts, I am assuming McMaster-Carr, unfortunately, we don't have them up here in Canada, and they won't ship to Canada. I have been trying to do a Google search but no luck yet, Thanks again.
@nburmandesign I have thought of doing a full length video but not untill I have all my ducks in a row such as a better looking shop and good cameraman to help out. Thanks for the feedback too, much appreciated. Bill
+Ass Hat PhD Did it ever occur to you that Eddie may not have known the difference in mechanics between a single and two-way truss rod?? So he typed in capital letters. Big freakin' deal. He asks an honest question so you call him a "moron" and "retarded"? A Telecaster isn't a Stradivarius. Like yourself, It's a tool.
The access channel with the walnut plug is sexy, much better than Revered or Yamaha access channels. This is because of the angled walnut plug. Bootycheeks
thanks for all your videos. I have learned ton .

could you upload a pdf of the blueprints?
What is the diameter of the routerbit you use for the channel?
I used a quarter inch round nose bit.
@@ScheltemaBoutiqueGuitars thank you so much bill. Really very useful tutorial. Helpful for my next building.

WHY NOT JUST USE A TWO WAY TRUSS ROD AND NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL OF THIS?
