    I think anyone should be able to use it - the problem with ultra rich is they usually pay almost zero tax.

    I’m catching up on your chats and loving them. It’s like sitting in a room with my girlfriends. Thank you ❤

    I laughed when you said "they went out but not down"!!! When you're young you want them big enough to hang, but being older, I wish they would stay up 😆

    Loved the chat about where this might all go in twenty years. I manage a team that includes trend forecasters and I can tell you that your are not far off. We are already seeing the demand for rehumanisation as a counter trend to AI. I won't bore you with it, but Meta and other companies are already looking into tags that will highlight human-made pictures - in other words, non-AI imagery showing real human faces, real landscapes etc which actually become a luxury (given that 90% of the internet is set to be AI generated by 2026) - and as with most things, other sectors will tap into this (e.g. how might beauty companies help people look more real/ more human' etc -

      Ultimately it’s the stuff money can’t buy that ends up being the most valuable and I can totally see that being true! AI is theoretically devaluing the arts but I think it will have the opposite effect eventually because so few artists will be left .. same with natural faces!

      I suspect it’s the length of the video that affects it. I never alter them, they’re automatically generated

    The hard thing about not making the NHS totally free is where do you draw the line. What is wealthy enough that you have to pay. I would argue that most private employers pay for private health as part of your pay packet.

    Lunch time tweakments have been available for 20 years! Im turning 45 in july and have been having botox since I was 27. 😅 crazy its been that long! I would never have my eybrows tattoed as its permanent. Botox wears off pretry quickly. Wish it was permanent 😅

    • @MissBudgetBeauty
      @MissBudgetBeauty  2 місяці тому +2

      Well it’s temporary in theory.. as with anything you do, you should be prepared for results to be not quite as you expected. Filler has always been touted as temporary but is widely believed now to never 100% leave your system. There’s nothing wrong with lunch time tweakments so long as you’re giving them the appropriate amount of consideration

      @beamorristhomas 2 місяці тому +2

      @MissBudgetBeauty yeah not a filler fan! It can build up over time and then it will need to be dissolved. I'd rather wait a few years and have a face lift. Im not trying to change the way I look so filler is pointless. And as the skin stretches out you'll need to keep putting more in. No thanks! Botox wears off in 3-6 months depending on how fast you metabolise it. Despite the ongoing cost, botox is amazing and 100% worth it. Doesn't change how you look if done well, and is an amazing preventative treatment to avoid wrinkles forming.

      I think my issue is that it’s been amazing for YOU.. which is GREAT! but I don’t like that it’s encouraged as almost a throwaway treatment you barely need to think about. There are absolutely side effects you can suffer with and it can go very wrong. It’s not regulated (literally anyone can do it) and I’m sure you go somewhere reputable but the younger people growing up with this being so common and accessible might not do their research. They hear it’s great and preventative and don’t consider there could be a negative
      I was totally going for it a couple of years ago but I saw enough bad things to put me off, partly for me but partly because I would feel responsible if I influenced anyone to have it and it went wrong for them.

      @MissBudgetBeauty It a personal choice and I understand your reasons. I don't go around talking about it and unless I told you, you'd never know I had botox. Sounds like it's not as regulated in the UK as it is here in Australia. To each their own absolutely. I love it for me and don't see myself ever stopping having it. Initially, I had it done for tension headaches which it also works wonderfully for.

    I take exception to the entire Osborne family being divisive… as a Brummie who adores heavy metal Ozzy is godlike to me. Sharon on the other hand… thoroughly unlikeable in every possible way

    The justification for tax is that everyone in the community must contribute to access nationally provided services. The wealthy pay more tax as they can afford to and on average take less out of the system. If the wealthy are taxed and not allowed access to national services how can you justify taxing them.

    • @MissBudgetBeauty
      @MissBudgetBeauty  2 місяці тому

      The secondary issue there is tax avoidance schemes for the wealthy being so heavily used BUT I totally agree.. it’s impossible to say you can’t have access but I do think there’s an argument to be made for “SHOULD” they use services they could afford to pay for. It’s not a question with an answer
