  • Enjoy one of our longest most relaxing UA-cam films so far.
Set in the heart of Calderdale in West Yorkshire is this iconic tower which has no use what so ever. It's the tallest folly in the world and has 405 steps to the top of the structure.
Open to the public mainly on Bank Holidays in the UK, the public can club the tower for a small fee and get a spectacular view of the area.
On a clear day its even possible to see Blackpool tower if you've got a very good set of eyes.
Wainhouse Tower is 275 ft tall and was erected between 1871 and 1875 and built by Josh Edward Wainhouse as part of a feud between neighbouring land owner, Sir Henry Edwards.
Photography and drone filming by Philip Fearnley.
