Mill Ave was my stomping grounds for quite awhile back in the early 2000's. I remember that place long before those high rises AND before the Town Lake was filled up. Also, that courtyard you went into is where I'd go to sit and chill when I was homeless for a couple years. To the left of your camera shot at the end is the entrance to the underground shop called the Graffiti shop, run by a guy named Lawrence. And that Jimmy Johns you walked by used to be a coffee shop called Coffee Plantation. It was a regular hangout for goths and gypsies and college kids. Cool video, man.
Back in the 1990s I lived in Tempe. We used to hang out at the Coffee Plantation and then we would walk over to Long Wongs for 30 cent chicken wings. I was homeless for a little while too. I miss the old Tempe. There were lots of artists and really interesting people living there at the time. Some of them were homeless but they were gypsies as you said.
I was first in Tempe in the late 1960s.....still alot of dirt roads......more hippy types....more live music being played.....and of course....the "paka"
Good job opening the video with the drive over the bridge and keeping the Google building and mountain in the shot. It really was a great way to start it
We were in Tempe today! Ate at Fuzzy Tacos and it was delicious and the view of that hill is gorgeous!! It was too hot to hike it when we got there at 11am 🥵 but plan on going back early in the morning to trek it before we leave. So far been to Globe (stunningly gorgeous!) Glendale downtown and Westgate, downtown Phoenix, Paradise Valley, the Biltmore district (have you done a video on that one yet? I’d love to learn more about it) Staying with my in-laws in Mesa and their super close to the red mountains and they take my breath away every time. Next stop downtown Gilbert, Chandler, Sedona and Flagstaff!! I’m so in love with Arizona 🥰 your videos have been our guide throughout our trip. Hoping we can make the move here soon.Thank you so much!
Ah yes we have done a few on those places. We just did a Glendale a video the other day. We also did a video on Paradise Valley last month. If you search the channel you will find a video for pretty much all of those places. If you would like to watch them.
You can't miss out on going here more than a few months because chances are, it'll look complicately different. I was out of school at asu for 3 months, came back and I was lost! Lol. It's a great city.
Jeff, you're doing a great job providing information. Just moved to Prescott two weeks ago and loving it. Wish ADOT (MVD) was kinder on the registration fees. Addressed this subject on the Facebook page.
Do the people in Tempe like Soccer? I love it and I'm moving to Tempe in a couple of months! I see the people at the bar were watching a soccer game at around 6:12 and I'm in love already!!
LordTominator that’s how the Phoenix/Tempe/Glendale area are. Very modernize and everything has gone through massive restorations. I lived in Tempe for about 6 months before I moved back to florida. Loved it there. Very peaceful, nice people, clean restaurants, very modernized. Great place to raise a family if you want quietness while at the same time close to everything. Only downfall to Tempe is it’s expensive as far as housing is concerned. Average good but cheap homes is around $275k and can run up to $550k. Definitely plan on moving back
So Tempe is a college town..alot of hipsters.. which I don't have a problem with lol..enjoyed the video though..would of like to see ASU football stadium
@@thepoppabear Actually, no. Tomato and tomatoe are different pronunciations of the same item. Silicon and silicone are completely different materials!

Are you white or black that plays a sport in college or pro...
Tempe is for college kids, you’d be better off in Gilbert or Queen Creek with a family.

Great job. I enjoy all of your videos. You have a real talent--natural, not rehearsed.
Good job opening the video with the drive over the bridge and keeping the Google building and mountain in the shot. It really was a great way to start it

Hi. Would you mind telling an average of the house's price, please?
A lot different there on a day of an ASU Football game!
I now live in Honolulu. But Tempe,AZ is much more BEAUTIFUL than anything in Hawaii! In fact, all of Arizona is better looking than Hawaii.
Do the people in Tempe like Soccer? I love it and I'm moving to Tempe in a couple of months!

Used to be they moved to Glendale to the State Farm Stadium in 2006
That wet burrito has at least 1300 calories with 300 carbs, I would go straight to the hospital for an EKG evaluation after that.
So Tempe is a college town..alot of hipsters.. which I don't have a problem with lol..enjoyed the video though..would of like to see ASU football stadium
