I have to say this worked quite well. I found an ASUS laptop outside once but it was password protected and there is no way I've been able to figure out who it belongs to so I decided to try and bypass the windows 7 password to get into it and this method actually worked. It took some time to get together because I had to find my Diablo 3 CE usb flash drive but all I did was d/l the file in this vid but for USB and just put all the files on the flash drive like it's readme says and installed..

..and bam if I boot from usb flash drive on the laptop it would auto load what is shown in Dos or w/e in this vid. The only issue I had was trying to find windows where the registry was found so basically what the people below are saying sometimes you just have to try another number when you're trying to point to your registry and then this will work nicely. I'm surprised at how simple this seems to work in terms of clearing a password for a user account, but ty for this info it helped alot@
You burned a disc off your laptop and put it in your pc and downloaded it ? The reason why i ask is alot of people here seem to be having the same problem. I know it is impossible to download it when you cant get in pass your own password. let me know is this how you did it.
Cornelieus Fields I downloaded the program to my desktop in my laptop,.,when I downloaded it to my download file, it did not work...HAD to download to desktop for it to recognize as a ISO...then burned to a cd/dvd..not sure which I used. Then I put the cd/dvd into my pc and started the computer...it automatically went to the program to fix my password..I had my laptop close and followed all the instructions...and it worked!
ya good. You can do that with widows also when you install a new hard drive burn a cd then download. Some times it takes a minute. I bought a c650 pro for $50 and unlocked it. Now all i have to do is replace the hard drive and key board.. You should downlad OS Linux. Why it is free and t fix is simple. Windows when it screws up you go though hell trying to get it to work right again. You need also to back up your system om a cd. Windows will hide your c drive on you and it is hard to get back. You cant download or get in the system as administrator. All software if you run it thru your cd or usb you can reprogram anything on your computer or labtop. I know a lot of people on here don't know you have to go to another computer or labtop to make the cd or usb. burn it then install it to your laptop . i write this because it is not in the video. he left that out. But thank God for him because it does work. Another thing is for people that dont know. make sure when you burn it to a cd or etc. That you verify it is burned to the disc. Someof you mite not have it on the burn or completed the burn. Half a program will not work. I know . My first burn did not get the full program so it did not work. I burned again. This time i pressed verify . After the burn it told me completed burn successfully. Then i knew i had it. I popped it in my labtop and it put my passwork off my hard drive in it. This is the $50 dollar laptop. I will help anyone on here that is having a problem with this program. But if your comp or lab is factory encrypted. It will not work.

Hello! I have followed all the instructions, and when I reach the "Boot" step, I select #3 on this Tobisha tablet, which reads TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208AB (PM) and it load straight to my Windows page that asks for the password. Please help. Thank you
i put the file on a usb and tried put it in the other computer which i am locked out of.i changed the boot config but the pc dose not boot from the usb.what have i done wrong ?
it means you need to type another # in then 1 at 3.29 in the video he chooses 1 but your computer might have it set to 2 so instead of doing [A] then [1] do [A] then [2] it should work out then just continue to follow video then so what i mean is at 3.29 he just enters 1 you need to enter the one your computer is set which must be 2
Click the start button and then write CMD but dont press enter. Wait for the search to complete. After a few seconds u will see a program called "CMD" with a icon that looks like "C:\". Click on that program with your mouse's right button and click on "Run as Administrator". I hope this helped. Cheers
I reached up to step 3 and still ok. But when choosing 1 for step 4 for password reset ( SAM SECURITY) only 2 registry were loaded. 9 and q. Password Reset was not loaded. Do I missed something? Thanks.
everything worked fine up until the option of "1 - Edit User Data & Password", it didnt give me that option on screen. It did give me the other 2 options though. what else can i do????
hi mike, Im trying to boot it from a toshiba - I downloaded the file and burned it onto a dvd - inserted the disc to my missus toshiba with windows 7 which she forgot the password to, but for some reason the disc doesnt boot properly and it says it "is failed" - What can I do? Thanks in advance!
To make the USB drive: - Download the USB file from the same website as shown in the video; - Extract all the files to the USB drive (place the files in the root directory! Dont place the files in a subdirectory! Doesnt matter if the USB flash drive has other files or not) - Run CMD as administrator - In CMD windows use the following commands: - (USB letter drive): (in my case it was e:) - syslinux.exe -ma e: And thats it. This worked for me. for the rest just follow the video.

it might be some other key your have to press when it is restarting- it usually depends on the computer try f2 or tab

Using a boot disk is a very old trick, originally used in dos for pass recovery
