Christmas in Belgium! Our motorhome adventure continues and we are disappointed!!

Our Motorhome Adventure in Northern Europe, continues this week, and it’s getting nearer and nearer to Christmas - our first time in Belgium for the festive season.
We start in Bruges, a city full of charm but sadly, the Christmas market didn’t quite live up to our expectations. However, the beautiful city, festive lights, and cosy winter atmosphere still made it a lovely place to visit.
After Bruges we move to a new campsite in Ghent, ready to explore more of Belgium. First we are heading to Brussels, where the Christmas markets and festive atmosphere are absolutely amazing. From twinkling lights to delicious food and a brilliant winter vibe, Brussels is truly a must for your Christmas markets in Europe tour.

Agree they were both good sites - was it as muddy at the Ghent one when you stayed there? What time of year did you go? Maybe spring/summer time would be better 🤔.
