Damn!! That Bosch cut like a beast!!
People seeing the Ryobi as fail compared to the Bosch don't consider that it's $80 compact model being dusted by a full size $300 model. In fact, most full size recips will dust this Ryobi. That said, I don't want to push into a ceiling or other tight spaces to make a cut with a big ass sawzall. This has a purpose and it does what it made for.
I love my Ryobi, but that Bosch is insane!
It would help when cutting that metal pipe to have the shoe right up against the pipe. Having it a few cm’s away like that will cause a huge performance loss
you should do a side by side video test to compare both methods, would make for an interesting video

@@ToolCraze review is great and many thanks for this. I think it is still poor quality because I see how bad it is when you campare it to brushles Bosch. I had the old version of ryobi saw and I was cutting silicate blocks and then friend of mine came with dewalt. That was huge difference. My one got eventualy burned....How do you think about it? am I taking it wrong?
PS: if you campare it to something similar with 18V like DeWALT DCS369N that would be awsome.
I've explained more in detail in the full review on the website, such as this is a compact 18 volt recip saw the size of a 12 volt so it's performance should fit it's size which it does but slightly better than a similar 12 volt as seen in the side by side tests. The Bosch was thrown in to see how it compares to a full size model, in reality that Bosch is actually a high performance model. Like a Civic versus a supercar. It doesn't mean the Ryobi is poor quality, it's just that one needs to be realistic with their expectation of a tool basically the size of a small 12 volt model. Ryobi does have larger 18v recip saws that I believe should perform a lot better, however greater performance comes at the cost of a larger heavier tool which this is not. It's a compact model.
