    People burn out tools using dull blades and not letting the tool breath it's a tiny motor with no oil people are expecting V8 performance

    I would bet money that TTI is using a lot of the same exact components in the Ryobi Hp, Milwaukee and ridged line ups

    TIM from Canada Ryobi still can get into the professional tool category. You can have two platforms. You can just have the Ryobi tool for the homeowner.?DIY Handyman?… now you can get into the HP…line… this is professional. What put you in the top running with Milwaukee there is no reason why Ryobi cannot run to platforms the HP for professional and you have your best tools out there or you have your standard…. why you be too for the handyman see Ryobi now can run to platforms. There is no reason why you cannot do this…. If you want to get into the professional platform, Ryobi figure out what tools are out there and see if you can do your brand of tool the same as everyone else you wanna run with the big boys you need to go with what is going on Milwaukee… this is the tools you need to look at and see what is out there and what brands people are buying.. Milwaukee is the brand everyone is running after if Ryobi wants to start getting into the pro tool you need to look at Milwaukee fuel

    Ryobi has confused their audience alot with their regular, lithium+, HP batteries, max performance, pins vs no pins. How do I know if I am not getting degraded performance by not using their best battery.

    • @Shoptoolreviews
      @Shoptoolreviews  3 роки тому +2

      You are correct, they have created some confusion over that past couple of years with their HP batteries and now HP tools. Now, they have the batteries that are upgraded but don't say HP. It's a bit confusing. A safe bet would be if you're using a battery with the additional pin, you should be good. Thanks for watching.

    This vs the M12 would be a great comparison. Are you sponsored in any way by any tool manufacturers?

    • @Shoptoolreviews
      @Shoptoolreviews  3 роки тому +8

      We do some paid stuff for the different tool companies. We were not sponsored by Ryobi at that time, and we're not now either. Regardless, our views, reviews, and feedback does not change. We stand behind this, no matter what. Thanks for watching.

    The tool gets very hot. You can not use it for long duration.

    Great review. Thanks. I got one as part of the 5-tool combo HD was selling Christmas 2021 for $250 (4 tools and a light) with two 1.5 amp batteries and a charger. Can't see how I go wrong at that price. (Driver, Impact driver, multipurpose tool, his one-hand recip, and a light). Have not yet used, but happy with the unboxing.

      I bought Ryobi HP 8 tools combo for $290 from Home Depot in December. The kit come with everything from 5 tools combo + 3/8 HP impact wrench, HP right angle drill driver, HP cutoff saw.

    Wow it seems night and day from the other reviews I've seen. Have you had any problems with it just shutting down on you?

    • @Shoptoolreviews
      @Shoptoolreviews  4 роки тому +6

      I have seen another video where they "smoked" one, but our Ryobi performed just fine. We made many cuts through 3/16" x 2 x 2 angle iron and it never gave us a problem. I'm sure we could release the smoke if we really wanted to, but we could do this with any tool. Thanks for watching.

    I just got one of these and there is a rattling sound like something is broke in it but it runs. I was trying to see if I could hear the same sound here. It was supposed to be brand new but it had been taped so I worry it was dropped or something. Does anyone know about this? Like if you even gently rock it left to right it’s very apparent.

    Maybe you can replace the shoe with an adjustable one from another tti brand?

    I bought one this weekend for cutting a few 3 to 4" tree stumps. After I was done I cut up an old aluminum chair that was broken. I can see it coming in handy around the house. Works great for $99. I also have a string trimmer and yard blower in the lineup that I have had for several years so not requiring another battery type is great. My original batteries did die and I replaced them with a 3rd party CEENR brand that works great for $56.99 for a pair of 4.0Ah 18V

    I wonder why everyone believes in these 1.5 ah batteries. I know they come with the kit but they're not that efficient unless you're only making a few cuts. Anything like a saw or hammer drill should have nothing under a 3ah

    • @Shoptoolreviews
      @Shoptoolreviews  2 роки тому +1

      Agreed, if you are doing larger jobs, you should use at least a 3Ah. Small jobs, the 1.5Ah is fine. Thanks for watching.

      @@Shoptoolreviews I don't even have one which I wish I did. There's not a home Depot or Lowes or harbour freight in my country. I have to order my tools online and by the time they get here they're almost double from duty freight and taxes here. Over there sales tax is like 7 percent here it's 12.5. so from there to here it sucks. I've been in a home Depot once and I don't think I'll get back there anytime soon because of finances

    It still doesn't look like a pro-grade tool to me. It's alright but is best used by a hobbyist.

    • @Shoptoolreviews

      It actually hits a good spot, performance wise, and the price is decent. This is a good tool and should work for a beginner Pro. Hobbyist or DIY is perfect as well. Thanks for watching.
