So informative. Your comments about having to work hard to get the ball out there and not getting any help from the club is where I was this time last year. Had a session with Stephen from Fit For Purpose Golf and made a shaft change in the driver from Project X Even Flow 6.0 S 55g to Accra TZ6 Proto 55 M3 R. Absolutely love the new shaft. However, after watching this video, I am looking at my Epic Flash Sub Zero and thinking TSi3 🤔

Paige, I moved to a TSR3 this season as well. I had a (mostly) proper fitting, and after a month or so I went from slicing and a 225 carry to a thirty yard dispersion from center with a 260 carry. As you mentioned, the club is essentially effortless to swing and VERY consistent. This does provide a level of confidence off the tee that carries through the rest of a round. This club saves me nearly ten strokes a game now just by virtue of the added distance and hitting more fairways. Ian hits it on the head when he says the TSR3 may be the best driver on the market now. Love your content and humor. Keep up the good work.

I took your advice Paige and got fitted at the Club Champion near me and I'm really happy with the results. I have a more consistent ball flight.
You hit almost the exact numbers that I do and I’m 6’2 240lbs…lol I find if I swing my ping 425 any faster it’s not predictable at all. If I put my ego aside (hardest part)swing slow, and mind my tempo the ball will go straight right down the middle every time….

Club Champion AZ did my Iron and Driver fitting this year. Along with that I had my first sub 80 round along with it. I've steadily been leaving my golf partners behind and am now 15 strokes ahead of them. Our swings aren't simply "cut and paste". Highly recommend fittings if you want to improve.

The information and knowledge of Ian is encyclopedic. I love this man's knowledge. Based on Ian's math I am short by 20 yards. And that's fine. My current driver hits 60% of the playable area and that works for me for now. Fix my swing then go for a few more yards
I see the mini more as a 3 wood replacement, I have the 13.5 head set to 14.25 with a tensei 1k orange, my course requires alot of 3 wood tee shots so its been the perfect 3 wood replacement for me. I believe alot of the tour pros use it that way too more of a 3 wood replacement, saw alot in play recently at the BMW at Wentworth as they don't hit driver all that much there.

7 hdcp here. I use a 3 wood and a mini-driver. Best choice I ever made.
Mini-driver is the taylormade aeroburnder 14 degree minidriver
3 wood is the ping 3 -somethingsomething that came out a couple years back in a 15 degree.
Minidriver is just the most versatile club I've ever hit.
50% mindriver shot ftw!!! Perfect laser for 210 yards and a little bit of roll. vs 50% driver tends to draw a little, which isn't the goal...
3 wood is generally for hitting off the deck as the mini-driver is low launch. But it's also a fade biased club, which I use to hit fades off the tee (as I don't hit a good fade usually).
If you were listening to the convo in the video, you should note that hookers should make themselves a fade bias club, because you have to hit a fade sometimes...

Paige! You are delightfully wicked. 😊 The vibe I got from Ian at the beginning was, "don't look down. Don't look down. Look her in the eyes. The eyes are up. Oh, look away, look away..." A 30 minute clip! How much filming did you have to do? To just get 30 minutes...Did you have to say at any time or think, "Ian, I'm up here". I certainly wouldn't blame him if any of that took place. I do disagree with him on players abandoning responsibility for knowing their tools. Pros, when I was growing-up and learning the game, worked on their own clubs. Drilling cavities in the wooden heads and adding lead weight, etc. And now, every golfer has a tour van in their pocket, especially with driver, fairways, and hybrids. Experiment with loft, lie, and head-weight. Hit balls and observe ball flight. It isn't difficult at all. Excellent video!

One of the most interesting vids yet. Ian is a natural on camera and explained things in a way that could be understood by all (not biased because I'm Scottish too) lol. I've fancied having a driver head on a 3 wood shaft for about 30 years - essentially a mini driver. Funny how things go

Once you are used to 480cc, it is difficult to go back to 420cc. I liked the formula 2.7 yards per 1 mph increase.

I play with a guy who has both a driver and mini driver, the mini is basically 2.5 wood that he tees off with when driver is too much. Great for shorter courses. I'd argue that the paradym is the best driver this year. The stealth 2 is good but there's no reason to get on if you have a stealth.
I wish I could get through the ball like you do Paige. I am constantly swatting at it instead of extending through. Any drill to help this?? Thanks!

I have to interject at 13:33...after a bad drive, or Paige's "snap hook"..just play it, and remember to slow it down on the next drive..more often than not, you'll lose 20yrds, but the shot straitens out..
I have a question you may not get often. What is the function and need of a 1 and 2 iron?
What makes a driver into a mini driver? I'm only 5'7", does that make me a mini driver? Or is it relative to the size of the vehicle being driven?
I absolutely respect Paige for doing content like fittings. She could so easily cop out and just look hot on a beach but she shows she actually thinks about the game and shares the usefulness of information with us.
Swinging up on the driver was disastrous for me, I worked on it for a long time. Tiger in his prime actually had a 3degree descending blow. I never cared for high ball flight anyway

Paige how important would a fitting be for someone who really struggles with consistent ball striking. I feel like when I get on the course I'm to much in my head. I go to a golf lesson and can hit great in front of my instructor but I fall apart on the course
Honestly it really depends. Having well fit clubs benefit me a lot because it helped to get rid of some of the misses I hated to see that would ruin me mentally for the rest of the round. If it's in the budget, I'd do a club fitting and let the fitter see what's going on. But just getting out on the course more and actually keeping score can also help a lot!

Difficult concept for a good golfer, to keep looking up!
I think that the driver depends on the car. If it's a sedan, you go with your standard driver. If it's a compact, then you get out your mini driver.
Sorry Paige, I have to strongly disagree with you on a mini driver not being for most people. I’m 46 & outdrive friends who are younger than me with my TM mini. My Mini carry’s 270, and SIM 300. It’s a unbelievable club. If you actually was fit for it vs saying it’s too heavy, you’d understand 🤗😉
I love my 300 mini, can crank it a little over 300 with rollout, and rarely miss a fairway.

I wonder when Paige will be returning to competitions among other UA-cam golfers? She seems to be locked in to golf equipment sales pitches and teaching (and she is an excellent teacher). I wonder if it's because she has laid off competition for so long, that as a former tour pro, she's afraid of embarrassing herself in competitions, especially with amateurs or ex-college players. Hopefully, she's practicing behind the scenes so to return to competitions.
Got to get fit, got to be in the bay, got to have lots of $$$$.

Baseball pitcher has a time Limit to though the baseball to the Battle Swings at the balls into the Catcher too! When is the Man's golf go to have a time limit to speed up the golfing matches too! 🤔 ⛳️ Just like the Baseball game now,
I went back to the Bridgestone j33 p driver last year. it's a 375 cc that has a low profile and obliterates the ball. goes further than my newer honma! and it doesn't look like a boot on the end of a stick.
