Sometimes your money should be invested on lessons and then new tools. Learning to deliver the club more consistent is way more valuable than anything. You have a great foundation, now it's time to dial it in.
Awesome, I was a recent winner of the Cobra fitting with Club Champion. Would have love to been in a fitting video, I had similar results. Gained 40+ yds carry and 60+ total yds avg going from my old gamer to the Darkspeed X. Misses are lightly pushed right vs big slices with lost balls and penalty shots stacking up. Also gained 8mph avg club speed and 13mph ball speed.
They gotta start giving the ZX5 LS MK2 more love. His height on his driver is almost too much on the 9 degree head. Get him into the 8.5 LS or even 9.5 LS it would jack that spinrate down and have more of a penetrating/forward flight. Maybe the margins on the SRIXON just arent high enough?
The guy was pretty straight with his Callaway Rogue ST max Draw. I have never been straighter on my life than with this exact same driver. I played on Trackman all winter long and needed to set my "Draw" driver to draw on the shaft as well. As soon as I was able to go outside, I realize that Trackman was seeing stuff that real world isn't, I had to put it back to Neutral. Inside, my balls had a little bit of fade or slice, and then, outside I was hitting draw and hook which I have never been able to do in the past. When my shaft was back to neutral, I was laughing because I have never hit dead center like that. Trackman is fun and the better simulator out there, but it is not perfect!
After getting fit, I didn't gain huge distance but I gained more consistent distance with a tighter dispersion. It's amazing, I ended with a Cobra aerojet with a CC specialty shaft. Super confident on drives, not missing many fairways now. Awesome 😎
the first gamer shot you showed carried 246 but that wasn't included in the end gamer comparison and only two shots taken for the new driver - now I'm sure there was an improvement but can't imagine it was actually 40 yards
Possibly, but usually it's better to have at least a consistent swing before going. It doesn't have to be a perfect swing, but it should be pretty much the same every time, with consistent ball contact.
@@PaigeSpiranac That makes sense. I definitely feel like consistency more so than distance for beginners such as myself is key to the game. Thank you so much for your advice. I think I'm going to hold off from getting fitted until I get more consistent!
I watched this on Saturday - then at the end the next Video was ""The most photographed Golf Hole in Hawaii". The same great golfer, just a bit more nervous, but the same raw beauty.
Titleist TSr3 - hands down the best driver on the market for a while now, and NOT carbon fiber construction. If you are going to spend $600 or more on a driver, just seems like titanium is a better investment than plastic.
Ok but I'm not good at golf... Like, abysmally bad, like 70 strokes for 9 holes bad. My friends keep saying I should get new clubs since I've been using my dad's old clubs that are like 20 or 30 years old. However I'm not convinced that the issue is in my clubs, but in my own inability to hit the ball correctly. Is there any way that a club fitting would actually benefit me or is a fitting more for people who have everything under control and are looking for that *extra*
With clubs that are very old or that don’t fit you at all (for example way too long or short), getting new clubs could make a big difference. However you might not need a fully custom set, maybe just a better set that has newer technology and things like better length shafts. If you go back a few videos I have a fitting with a guy named Josh who also is a high handicap player. You can see how poorly he was playing with his dad’s old clubs and what his experience was like!
4000 spin, its not the shaft, 100% must be attack angle on a - minus, get him to bottom out before the ball for an upward attack angle +3 degrees, get 20 yards at least.
Probably not affordable some. But the fact is the lie and right shaft even grip is a huge factor. In all your clubs. It's whether you can afford if your just playing for fun.
It would have been good to know how much that club ended up costing. My buddy took his kid in for a fitting for his 20th birthday and ended up spending a grand on a driver. P.S. Paige is an absolute smoke show!
@@ilijastanic3245 The dispersion on his drives was quite far apart. You could see from the fitters reaction. All well and good in a studio - take that to a woodland golf course and you're spending all day in the trees where it doesn't matter how long your drive is - you're hitting out sideways.
Wondering why they didn’t try the Ping G430 Max 10k. One of the most consistent and forgiving drivers on the planet. I have the G425 and absolutely love that club and they say the 430 is even better.

For sure. If your swing isn't consistent, a fitting might not be the best option.

Did you guys try a ball fitting? Think a lower spin ball might fix his driver spin, like left dash Prov1?

Bro doesn't need more distance - needs more forgiveness. Really surprised the Ping wasn't tested here.
What’s the point of forgiveness if you’re avg. 230yd drives? The titleist was definitely the pick.

Hi
Hello
Why is he hitting from the wrong side lol
10 . Yep I have 10 handicap . I actually watch golf stuff for golf ,distracting as may be.
Club is too long for him. He has enough speed to shorten the shaft and get him to hit center of the club face.
Golf is all about distances its a technical and frustrating sport
