I folded it wrong, and ended up with a beautiful swan! 😁 Seriously though, great video, thanks.
Hahaha No pictures of your swan?
One snap .... Plz...:):)
😂😂😂😂
@@Carojoe123 ooooo
Instructions unclear, got cake stuck in ceiling fan
O no! Make sure to turn off the fan before you started baking if this sort of thing is a regular occurrence during your baking adventures ...
The video is far too fast. One can hardly follow
😂
This is freaking excellent and concise, thank you!
Thanks tomzicare! Very happy to read you enjoyed it so much :D.
Very nice & detail video on lining a square baking pan, exactly what I needed, thanks ~
Thank you for your comment, I am happy to read it was helpful!
Once you watch this technique, you think "how obvious!" Now I know! Very good video.
Very happy to read that the instructions were so intuitive and that you liked the video! :)
I loveeee the quality of your videos!!!!! Really! They are amazing and love the "Fun Facts! Thumbs up!😊
Ingenious!
Good and instructive. Thanks from Antonio Goa India
Thank you for your comment Antonio. I am very glad that you feel the instructions were good :).
It worked great! Thanks!
Glad it worked! Thanks for your comment :).
This is so helpful! Thank you! Another channel I just saw mentioned that you can use metal clips (like the black ones used to hold thick stacks of paper) on the sides to hold the paper up. 😊
The other channel is Preppy Kitchen (highly recommended) if anyone’s interested! 😅
O I like that! Thanks for sharing :). As an addition: don't forget to take off the clips before you put the tin into the oven 😅.
If your sides keep pulling away. Give the pan a light spritz with cooking oil or cooking spray and it acts like a temporary glue of sorts.
Perfect great job
Yesssss thank you thank you!! 🎉
You are very welcome!
Very helpful; thank you!
:) Thanks for letting me know you liked the video!
Thanks very much
Thank you! 😁
I am happy to hear that you like it @seaweed2007

Life saver!
Happy to read that it was of use!
I love you for this
Hahaha thanks! 💚
Thank you!!
I am glad it was helpful :).
this is so helpful!!! i'm a novice baker and have just been laying my parchment paper over the pan and dumping the batter on until it sinks in. the edges get too crispy lmao :'(
Hey bruce bee, thank you for leaving your comment! I am very happy to hear that the video helped you out. I hope that your creations will come out just how you like in the future. In case you are interested, I wrote a few articles filled with tips and tricks for any baking adventure. Maybe you can find some other useful information in there too. :) link: truthful-food.com/category/baking/baking-tips-and-tricks/
Haha that's what I've been doing and it comes out in a weird shape.
LOL, me too!
Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! :)
🙏🏼noce! Don’t mean to sound dumb but do we need to put oil in the baking mould before placing the parchment paper?
Hey Karyn, not a dumb question at all :). There is no need for oil. The parchment paper is made so that it won't stick to the food you are making. The same goes for the parchment paper and the baking tin. The best part is that when you use parchment paper like this, cleaning the baking tin is not even needed most of the time!
Got close to perfect, definitely better than just smashing the paper into the pan lol
Hahaha @Bellllllz glad it helped.
Thanks
You are very welcome :).
Thank you for a very helpful video. It will be really great if you could provide a link to buy this baking pan! what's the size of this pan?
This one is 15cm x 15cm (6inch x 6inch). However, you can buy them in sets, or in different sizes. This one is made by Crown Cookware (it's a Canadian brand).
@@TruthfulFood Thank you!
@@ilovswathi You are very welcome! Let me know how it goes :D.
@@TruthfulFood Sure!
I'm doing it wrong this whole time. Thanks for the instruction
Glad it helped! :)
Thank you! Can you do a 9x13?
@joellenreed6862 Yes, you can use the same technique for rectangular tins :)
I’m so glad I’m not an architect, my bridge would’ve failed. Great video, somehow I fucked it up.
O no! What happened?
LMBO I haven't tried it yet. but i know it will not come out perfect.
Do they have parchment paper that’s already made like this
Parchment paper that is already the size that you need, or pre-cut?
Would you tell me what size to buy or cut the parchment paper for doing all this for 8x8 pan-so sides
would look like your's.... please help....thank you...
@VitaZgal how high are the sides of your pan? For my pans that are 8 inches by 8 inches, the sides are 2 inches tall. If that's the case, I would cut the parchment paper into a square 10.5 inches by 10.5 inches. That is enough to cover the entire bottom and all the sides, with a little to spare. Hopefully that helps!
@@TruthfulFood Hi hi....I can't get to the pan until tomorrow afternoon...I think it is 3 inches high...but at least two....and thank you sooo much !
The 8x8 is two inches... Thanks again ! Making Dutch Cocoa Brownies tomorrow...:)
Perfect! That sounds delicious. Let me know how they turn out :D.
Truthful Food.... Did I share that I now have my first Stand Mixer...ever ? ! It arrived today(yesterday as it is 2:30 AM-ish)....I'll be using the mixer for the Half Dutch Cocoa & half unsweetened Cocoa Brownie blocks...I'm like a little kid...so excited...I hope I remember to come back here...if not, just comment as reply & there will be notification... ha ha... I'll always be grateful for your input...I asked for this help in sizing of parchment with three other videos of those using it and making brownies... no reponse from a one...just you..THAT makes you a standout...and special...and THAT...I will not forget...:)
You could have told me which side is up.
If only all my pans didn't have rounded corners
Hahaha there is a simple way to cover those too ;).
👀
Damn it. I can't even fold a T-shirt properly. I just wanna bake! Can i just use cooking spray instead?
You absolutely can! Just make sure the type of cooking spray is compatible with the baking tin you are using :).
Pan size?
Hey Naila Rae! It depends on the recipe. What are you making?
@@TruthfulFood mac and cheese for 1 person, me
@@nailarae3633 I would go with 15 cm/6 inches. Enjoy your meal!
Nice video, but..... why not just wash the pant when you're done?
Sometimes the bake gets stuck. Using parchment paper is a good way to make sure it is easy to remove the bake. This method is a good way to ensure a nice bake and that the baking pans last a very long time because they are easy to clean :).
Am I the only one who is just convinced this is not how God intended 🤣 I'm too lazy for all this imma just tell on myself!!!!!
Most stressful video I've ever seen
Did you make sure someone was massaging your shoulders while you were watching it? I find that always helps me, when I watch this video.

OMG 😂🤦🏽♀️
I was not expecting this level of sarcasm from your channel considering how precise and methodical you are
Nonetheless it made me laugh so hard! 😂😂😂
@@marziafernando2367 We try to be efficient no matter what we are doing, including making people laugh ;).
Instructions unclear (for real)
Which part did you get stuck on/wasn't clear? :)
@@TruthfulFood Sorry, I founded it out my self 😅 the problem was that I was using a rectangle pan and not a square one
Happy to read you figured it out :).
