Honestly, bro, the stars kind of aligned for me with this beat - the sample and the vision I had for it just clicked. One thing I aimed for was to make my drums interesting but not overwhelming, allowing the sample to shine. For this beat, I didn’t even sync the BPM of the sample to the drums, and I believe that adds to its uniqueness. I think Peggy also loves to sidechain the sample to the kick. I'm not sure if any of this makes sense, but try making different parts stand out at different times. So, when the vocals were in, I would emphasize them, and the same for when the synth bass came in. When it comes to making beats like this, it's all about experimenting and doing what you like because, honestly, I thought nobody would appreciate this beat, and now it's doing really well. Don't give up if you can't get it right away. Holy moly I just yapped my heart out

looooove this, the chops are extremely well done imo, really energetic
that into is pretty unsettling but is very interesting, pretty unsettling almost, the delay is a very nice touch to emphasize the voice too
the sample itself sounds great so it was a great choice
that bass is really well done, fits really well into the mix, adds sooo much depth to the beat and i just love listening to it in the context of the beat!!!
the drums are probably my favorite aprt of the song, very wild & textured, love that perc panned to the right ear that contains some harmonic information, really a NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE touch, adds a sense of "space?" to the beat, the other drums are alsos really well done, really energetic and moving, which fits the song perfectly imo, they feel kinda drunk, but in a greattttttttttttt way
them lil glitches also are a really nice touch and add a lot the the "energetic/moving" feel of the beat
the mixing is really well done also, think all the tracks are pretty well managed, especially that bass, love how it sticks out of the mix and i also love how asymetrical (stereo wise) the mix is, also adds to the dynamic feel of the song as well
