Japanese Import PlayStation Pickups with unusual Squaresoft Games!

Recently I've found some great ebay deals on NTSC-J PlayStation gaming! PS1 and PS2 games were always region locked so back in the day you generally couldn't play import games unless you had a modded console. I think now though it's much easier to just find an original Japanese console instead of modding a US one. The nice thing is that you can also play all the great import PS1 games just by getting a Japanese PS2!

That's a good idea! Most imports I have don't really need translating but I have one or two that require reading.

Thats dope. Japanese exclusives for ps2. I haven't thought of that. So ps3 is is region free? But ps1 and 2are not?

Yeah that's correct and PS4 is region free too, but even though an American PS3 will play PS1 games it still won't play NTSC-J PS1 games.

Haha I bet you would have! Honestly I was only half expecting to actually receive it after I won the auction. Poor guy paid over 30 bucks just for shipping everything to me.
