Her issue was that she knew what she wanted but didn’t understand the logistics of getting there. It was the waist seam of that first dress. She hated it. She wanted a true drop waist A-line with illusion lace at the neck... but she could not articulate it until now. Good bridal consultants are very important in making the Bride’s vision a reality.

@@cymonet2821 honey a budget is a MAXIMUM, not a minimum. just because you have $9k to throw at something doesn't mean you should waste money unnecessarily. having a higher budget is supposed to give you MORE options, it's stupid to cut out such a huge chunk because they're "too cheap." do you want a dress you love for $8000 or do you want a dress you love for $1800?
@dietotaku I understand that a budget is the MAX a person wants to pay. I was making a point towards the fact that when a bride has a large budget she is generally shown lower cost dresses (not cheap), where as brides with lower budgets seem to be shown dresses that max out their budget or go beyond it.
With that budget she would have gotten wayyyy better dress

I think that I figured out how things work with David. You go with a massive budget (you say), and then he puts you in couple of dresses of around 6-8k, you say no to all of them and then he puts you in a 1-2k dress. It seems to have worked every time when a bride with a huge budget comes in. But if you go with a 2k budget, he puts you almost always in more expensive dresses. He just jas a thing to put brides in expensive dresses first, in a try to sell a more expensive dress. Typical businessman. You obviously need to be pushy with him and say no to everything more expensive that he puts you in so then he gives up and says in himself 'oh well, let's just try to sell her at least something'. David does not care about the brides as much as Randy and Gok do. He just cares for the money. That is my impression, at least from this show. But, the show is edited, so I may be saying rubbish now. The show gives me that impression.

These consultants need to go and train with Curvey Brides boutique. The shape of everything she was shown was exactly the same as the dress she already had. Including the one she bought.

Alice C Fully agree with you , I think that she was also slightly traumatised by the first dress buying experience and could have been easily walking out with no dress at all unless they offered her a “safe” dress . The main thing is that she is happy with her choice now never mind the budget and that when the wedding comes she will be radiant and hopefully confident.

1.She takes a dress which is exactly like her last dress.
2.Her budget was 10k and they put her in a dress which was not even 2000, but when the budget is 2000 they put the bride in a dress that is 2500 or more.

Well, she liked the dress she ordered but it didn’t fit her well, so obviously she liked the last dress because it was very similar but with a drop waist that probably was more flattering to her. We don’t know if quality was different either. They showed her more expensive dresses that she didn’t like and her budget was high because she really didn’t want to miss any that make her happy. It was for the consultants to show her this inexpensive dress to her budget because it was the one that the bride liked the best. It makes total sense.

Idk if you had a 10k budget, I would expect something more glam, more sparkly, or more wow. It looks like a dress that someone with a 2-3k budget might buy (looks similar to a lot of those dresses on the show). As long as she is happy in it!

I think they could've done better with the choices. There are more options since her budget is phenomenal. But then again, we're just viewers of the show.
The dress she ended up with wasn't the same as the one she ditched, like many viewers are commenting. It fits her way differently, more snug like she wanted. And I think the top is prettier with the less structured neckline.

Everyone's giving this bride shit in the comments about her choice. You've got to remember that none of these dresses are in her size, once it's been tailored to her I'm sure it'll look 10x better! Also, none of us tried on her first dress, and none of us tried on her 2nd dress, it's about how she feels wearing them, not about what our personal preferences are or the price tag. Her entourage were great, I'm sure at least one of them would have preferred the first dress but they didn't care about that, they cared about how the bride felt.

I think for most (not all) brides, as long as they look "thinner", they generally love the dress. That's not a bad thing because looking thinner = happy bride... but it says something about society today. But as long as they are happy, that is what matters.
