Hey girl! Thanks for the shout out! I have the decedent pies set from the first release and the colors used to be a bit smoother, they are more grainy now. Back to watching:)
I LOVE stylized shading colors. And those two colors look so lovely together.
I just bought this set today. Pigment and light fastness are now included on swatch card, so I thought I would share it with you:
LOVE LOVE LOVE the sheep! One of my favorite things you've ever done :) Also, I really like the palette. Ugh the earth tones are just gorgeous. I've been thinking of this palette for a while now. So glad I watched this video!
"If you're looking at a key lime pie that's this color, I'd probably pass!" I paraphrased you, I'm sure but LOL. Young lady, you created a beautiful painting with these. I love it! That blue looks awesome! It's looks loosely painted with non-traditional colors, that's why you got so many responses and ... that blue! People are drawn to these type paintings (myself included). Lindsay the Frugal Crafter gets tons of comments on her colorful loose paintings in non-traditional colors, as did Steve Mitchell with his blue trees (my fav, as well) and some of his funky-colored foliage. I love the Celtic music with this. Aaww, sheep, so gorgeous!
I watch your videos regulary and appreciate each and every one.Thank you. I was drawn to this video by the quality painting of the sheep and the colors you used. Gorgeous! The paint brand was secondary. This will be another of your classics. :)
Yes! I've been hoping you'd do a review / first impressions for prima watercolors and I'm so glad to see it.
What a great video. I have a set of Decadent Pies; mine is several years old so the colors are somewhat different, but this was still very helpful and interesting. Your sheep is absolutely beautiful! You have such a wonderful way of making animals faces look so expressive - how could anyone resist that Mona Lisa smile?!? Thank you again for sharing your research. Cheers
The sheep is fantastic! I think this is one of my favorite things you’ve ever done. The color is so dramatic and eye catching. It has so much presence.
I'm not surprised you got a lot of comments. This is a beautiful painting. I love the contrast between the yellow and blue. It's so striking! Well done Denise.
I love that sheep painting! Makes me feel super cozy for some reason
That turned out fantastic! I really like the blue shadow. 💖💖💖
Wow! I love this painting. Thanks so much for sharing you knowledge and skills.
I LOVED this! Of all your paintings this only comes in second to the baby hippo painting... that one was my absolute FAV!
GIRL let me say i love this painting! (and that olive green, too!) you did a great job, as always.... :)
Worth the purchase for the palette and 12 fillable half pans alone. I do like Jane Davenport’s palette better, it’s turquoise! I was able to fit 21 half pans in it perfectly. Your reviews are always informative and honest, and watching you paint is the big bonus!
That sheep is pretty wonderful! I love it.
This was such a great review and the painting is gorgeous!!!
Another great video! The negative painting with the green really ties it together.
I'm a relatively new subscriber and just want to say how much I enjoy your videos. You explain things so well and in an easy to understand way, and I really like your painting style, and love the sheep painting too! :)
