I have this exact same A/C here in Brazil (But mine is from Springer). It's amazing how efficient it is... It keeps the temperature stable spending less than 150W.
Rubber tree (ficas elastica) we found it in the Amazon jungle after being shipped wrecked for 2 years. It gave us so much joy we brought it back with us and have cherished it ever since 😝
One thing I discovered is these split-AC draw power during winter as much as 15W - 50W for a 9,000 btu and 24,000 btu Unit while the unit is powered off (no fan or heat, or anything). Seems like the colder the temp, the more power it draws. Do you have similar problem with yours
You know, enough of your audience has an Amazon Alexa that you probably should find another way to demonstrate than constantly giving commands that our own devices try to respond to.

Didn't know you can run AC off solar. Good to know.
The Mitsubishi Kumo module/app sucks and is slow, I replaced it with the Sensibo puck for app access and automation and works with any AC unit.

Friedrich was doing this for years. I control mine with my phone app.
Love it 😄

Nice, Ben. Glad you are able to make such investments. Wish I could, but… such projects are now beyond our ability.
One day!
Stop controlling my a/c lol
