The great thing about this Split is that The Story So Far totally shocks us with a completely different sound change, but obviously in a good way. As far as the Stick To Your Guns side goes, Idk, sounds like same ol' STYG, doesn't really impress me.
I feel stick to your guns should make a collaboration with other bands and make a straight up 90s cover album. Cover bands like madball, sick of it all, ignite, boysetsfire, fugazi ect. This split is really cool.
Story so far, the wonder years, four year strong, real friends, taking back Sunday, saosin, circa survive, state champs, sum41, new found glory, yellowcard, senses fail, the used, saosin, bayside, Hawthorne heights, brand new, title fight, neck deep
they play a style super similar to ADTR's first two albums. Like heavy pop punk. this is from a split EP and splits always stray from the typical sound.
and it's beautiful and shows they aren't restricted to a single genre (pop punk) and acoustics came from TSSF since they released their first ep's. they have always done acoustics just not in the two major albums they have released. how is it unexpected? maybe you are just uniformed. (don't read my text in a rude voice im just very direct!)

This EP steadily progresses from a mellow acoustic to a face melting mosh bringer and that's why it's cool.
they're growing up in the best way possible, and it's wonderful
listened to the first three minutes and had ordered the vinyl be the beginning of We Still Believe.
