Mezco stock proportions are disappointing as head looks too big & has a "no neck" look & legs appear slightly short imo. Fortunately a mod/fix can be made for head & neck by loosening neck piece & moving the cape underneath it to show the neck piece more which also make head proportions improve some too. Unfortunately a customer should not have to do that for a $125 + shipping cost figure so 👎👎to Mezco for not making that fix b4 finalizing production. Thx for the comparisons.
Hahaha.. I am glad that you like SHF. I have tried explaining many but sadly have not worked 😁 My view: Mezco got the color of suit correct with all the little details, Mafex is value for money due to those extra heads, SHF has pathetic cape, but has better head and human proportions in 1:12 scale.
Proportions in the mezco are way off his head looks huge and he has no neck he looks short and dumpy mafex is nice but the gap under the chest is an issue
@@CesarIsaacPerez yea the mezco is definitely the overall best fig out of the three, I did see someone customized the mezco to make him thinner too and the proportion turned out much better too.
Mezco has lots of potential some of it is an amazing but the stock proportions kill it… Mezco really needs to work on being able to do soft goods with a thinner profile so they can do all characters of all sizes justice. In their eyes, their figures always seem to have the one size fits all “Mezco” Batman proportion and that’s it. I’ve seen some incredible Mezco Pattinson customs on instagram though. The figure can def be transformed into a mini hot toys with the right modifications.
@@Janjibro66 sorry for the late reply, notification didn't even show a bunch.... but yea I saw those customs too for mezco and they look amazing. If only mezco can get their figs to that level of accuracy
I like these comparison videos. I think the unmasked Mezco head looks the best, and the masked Muff Toys looks the best, followed by the Mezco ones. And out of the figures I think the Mezco one looks the best, but I feel the proportions in all of them look a bit off.
@@TheCollectorCave hehe yea none of them are perfect. They all got pros and cons but yea overall if without customizing, mezco is the best.really disappointed with the mafex since they really stepped up on sculpting too.
@@SebastianGonzalez-ye9nd thanks, the one I showed in the vid is a custom, no wires. The stock one that came with the fig is a hybrid of plastic top down to shoulder length and it switched to cloth with wire if I remember correctly. If you want to get the shf, u best get a custom cape or make one yourself because the stock one is terrible looking. And the cape is removable on the shf.
@@toys210 the mafex can be greatly improved too by using a hair blow dryer to make the ears of the cowl longer and by gluing down the cape tighter to his shoulders to expose more of the neck collar I was also able to find a shorter peg to go in between his stomach and torso to close up that horrible looking gap… would be nice for once if mafex would drop a Batman figure where I didn’t feel like tedious modifications are necessary to make it look right I understand mass production of a great looking Batman figure must be tough given that it’s hard to get complex cowl designs looking right and functioning with lots of articulation is tricky and people not only want soft goods capes now but highly articulated capes that still look great and realistic when they rest on the shoulders Really the mafex Pattinson has a lot of great things the cape looks very impressive and has four wires… but just fluffs up a little too high and hides the neck collar … it’s hard to get material that looks so good to look really sleek on a figure of such a small scale

@@vnishpt7036 yea with the cape on he does look like he has no neck unfortunately. Maybe I'll see if I can print his a new neck piece.

Mezco just kills the other 2... everything looks better except the neck which I'm sure is an easy fix.

@toys210 hey great comparasion. Is the shf cape you removed wired and poseable? Thanks

I understand mass production of a great looking Batman figure must be tough given that it’s hard to get complex cowl designs looking right and functioning with lots of articulation is tricky and people not only want soft goods capes now but highly articulated capes that still look great and realistic when they rest on the shoulders

Mezco's head is awful, looks way too huge and his neck is too short. Mafex looks much better. It seems like you are just biased to mezco toys.
