I would love a camper just like this to explore the beautiful countryside of the UK🇬🇧...There is so much about your camper that I love! The use of solid acacia wood on the ceiling and the floor, the lovely herringbone and ortega outer window shutters. I especially love the driftwood and resin tables, and the sleeping platform with the skylight above! I can tell you put alot of effort into the planning and the processes for designing and making your camper, and also your ideas that evolved on the spur of the moment were very organic and pleasing on the eye. You should feel very satisfied at your achievement, Yudai, regardless of any minor regrets you say you might have. I'm very much looking forward to the video tour of your camper. 私の父は現在91歳ですが 60年間大工をやってきて数えきれない位の家を建ててきました😊
昔は 材木をカンナで削ったり ノコギリで切ったり カナヅチで釘を打ったりで😮 現在は木材を切るのも釘を打つのも機械なので、家を建てるのも現在の何倍も大変だったろうなぁと思います😊
一所懸命に建設業を営んで 温泉旅行にもたくさん連れてってくれて、家庭を大切にしてくれた父も 今は施設にいますが、感謝しかないです😢
心から有り難うしかないです😭
昔の大工さんは技術も知識もすごすぎますね。尊敬してます。
今は数日で家が経ちますからね😅いい事のような寂しいような。

販売するのは大変そうですが、コツコツ頑張っていきます🚚
費用も結構贅沢したので、もっと安く出来そうですね。

Well done!!!! I have learnt a lot from your build. My concern is I cannot sit long with my legs bend, if this is my final design of my camper van I will try to make a slide out staircase as a seat and install a swivel table top so that I can sit properly to work on the computer at the staircase. Wow, your wood looks to be superior quality than what i can get in america and much cheaper! also, fantastic work and amazing craftsmanship! you are so inspiring. I've been renovating my own trailer and am looking to build a 2nd trailer or van because I realized I learned many things and want to change some things for the next build!
Pretty amazing you did this yourself, wow! You have some great building skills. It is lovely and spacious. I wonder though how it will hold up to driving and wind shear forces.
The table is gorgeous! The red cedar is very water and rot resistant and light but does not have much structural strength, and neither does the kiri wood (paulownia). I would use more aluminum for framing and then the light wood will be fine. The roof is meant to shed snow loads but a flat roof on a camper is better - you have a roof deck.
Since this is my second car, I did the calculations. Flat roofs are weak against rain and wind.
