I snip the tulle in the center on both sides to lessen bulk - it also makes it easier to wrap it with chenille. My arthritic hands scream when twisting chenille or any type of bulky bows w/chenille or twist ties. Cable ties are painful to pull. Tulle does not fray. 😊 Beautiful deco mesh bow! I finally had to pull out sautering iron to cut & seal the edges of the mesh - it was fraysing as I was trying to put the bow together. It was a mess! 😅

Good tutorial! I didn't know how to use deco mesh. It could be easier for your Mama to use a Bowdabra to hold each stack in place while she folds each piece of tulle. I have arthritis, I use E-Z bow &/or Bowdra specifically to hold each piece of ribbon. 😊

Thank you so much for this ❤. You basically fold about 6 tulle sheets like an accordion, hold them all together by pinching them in the middle, then tying them. I never thought it would be so easy. Again, thank you so much for sharing ❤️

Omg thanks for the tutorial, I use tulle for my bows but I just tie a bow , then put a centerpiece and have the tulle hang..now I will definitely be using these techniques..

Use a small black clip like they use in office paperwork. That will relieve you if holding it AND playing around with wire. I know that will help you.

If I can offer a shortcut for cutting Tulle. Get a piece of cardboard the size you want. Wrap it around and around. Cut it at each end, and you'll have all the same size and about 39 or more in about 5 minutes
Or use a rotary cutter

Can I make a suggestion, wrap the tulle around a piece of cardboard 10-12 long. Wrap around 5x you'll have 10 pieces.

-BTW, I just learned after experimenting that tulle is great for size of a small bow. Dollar Tree ribbon is 3 yards - only makes two 2 bows that have six loops (3" loops on both sides with 5" tails. ;-) "MAKING SMALL BOWS LARGER ". Darn thing wouldn't 't let me see what I was typing.
