I use pool noodles for the middle of my candy boxes...I can cut up 1 noodle into at least 6 pieces or more and that makes 6 or more

Yes, sticking the candies is very time consuming!! This year last month I had my son to start sticking my candy and separate it accordingly....and it's been a great big help! I started making baskets & candy bouquets last year and I make and sold 84 in one day Very exhausting!! You do awesome work!! 🥰

I would reccomend using the hot gue to put a tiny dab and stic the curlies on the back of the candy package itself. I bet it would be quicker than tying.

I use burtonandburton.com i had to setup an account to get the discount
Beginning to 13 minutes talking about candy she has for them, Jump to 13 minutes to see how she’s gluing the candy backs, then thru 23 mins gluing candy, then cutting skewers, to 25 mins tying curling ribbon on the sticks, at 26 mins she glues the theater candy boxes together to make the base, and then adds card stock to bottom and cuts and glues it, add the foam to put the skewers in. I’ve made these candy bouquets for several flower shops for years so make sure you cover the back with the candy as well, you don’t want to see screwers sticking out in the back.
She took 12 hours to do the wrapping and gluing, and made 3 baskets total to sell in that time & said she had candy to make another 3 boxes. Remember to add your time at $35 a box you’re not making but about 50cents an hour. You can actually add less candy skewers & take and wrap foil, or cellophane wrap and stick it in between the candies so you have less skewers in the box and you won’t break off the skeweres from having to many in the foam. Use the tissue paper to make sure that you aren’t leaving the skewers visible.
