LYRICS
Welcome, won’t you come inside
Meet the ghosts where I reside
Despite how they’re abusing me
Lonely I will never be
Comfort in the hell I know
Resentment like a cancer grows
Longing for the day I’m free
Burn to get you out of me
Lying, supplying the need
Shedding and spreading the seed
Setting the trap with a thread
Spinning the web
Misery
She needs me
Oh, but I need her more
Misery
She loves me
Oh, but I love her more
Misery
She kills me
Oh, but I end this war
Misery
She fills me
Oh no, but she’s not what I’m living for
Ricochets within my head
Conversations never said
Magnifying every thought
That familiar pain she brought
Seeps inside eventually
Misery loves company
Sullen, I created youI suppose that I can end you too
She waits
She waits, she waits, she waits
She waits
She waits, she waits, she waits
Misery
She needs me
Oh, but I need her more
Misery
She loves me
Oh, but I love her more
Misery
She kills me
Oooh, but I end this war
Misery
She fills me
Oh no, but she’s not what I’m living for
Oh no
Oooh, misery
She needs me
But I need her more
She loves me
But I love her more
She kills me, she kills me
But I end this war
She fills me, she fills me
But she’s not what I’m living for
Oh no, oh no
No, no, no, no, no, no
Not why I’m living
Misery
She needs me
Oh, but I need her more
Misery
She loves me
Oh, but I love her more
Misery
She kills me
Oh, but I end this war
Misery
She fills me
Oh no, but she’s not what I’m living for
Misery, my misery
Misery, my misery
Misery
She’s not why I’m living
My misery
She’s not why I’m living
Misery
She’s not what I’m living for
My misery
No no

#Metallica #Inamorata #72Seasons
I've only heard this song a couple times and it's become crystal clear: this is THE song. Stuck in my head, heart and soul. What a treasure.
Its this one , or You must Burn!
Probably the best thing since 1991 these guys have released
Someone says this about any given song on the album. It's an amazing one.
Think I'm going to buy me a Hettallica album for the first time in 22 years.
I know it's sooo yummy
Yeah this is the one 👌😍
This is definitely my favourite song on the album.
Same brother. Very very good song
Same bro
This songs brings into my top ten Metallica songs
@@gianfrancolasala yeah no not at all
Naaa!
Four decades in and 41 years older, this song is absolutely one to throw in the vault. Fixxxer, Outlaw, and Bleeding Me vibes turned out a great masterpiece 20 plus years later. James, Kirk, Lars, and Rob, well done to say the least. Congrats on a solid album, a fan since 1984.
Outlaw Torn had sex with My Friend of Mysery and this is their baby
Wicked! I feel that as well! Those other songs are magic!
I turned 40 yesterday and have been going through Metallica's full catalog this past year. When I heard this song for the first time a few months ago it instantly became one of my favorites. Hard to beat Metallica.
The quadrilolgy of amazing long tallica
Esto no le llega ni a los talones, a sus primeros 5 albumes
Never ever underestimate the power and emotion hetfield can bring in his lyrics and voice .....brilliant
Who would've guessed that their longest song would come 40 years into the band and pass by so fast, that's great composition right there.
I agree its a great song but their longest song goes to 'Junior Dad' from Lulu at 19.28.
@@julesgiddings8747 Metallica were guests on that album, it's lou Reid's album
The original outlaw torn is actually technically longer. But nonetheless!
@@nemesis8626 Valid proof that just because a song is long doesn't mean it's any good, unless we're talking about Tool.
or Opeth
I can not get this song out my head. Riff after riff, lyrics, drums and that bass are all top. It is emotional to the core the second half especially almost brings me to tears - you can really feel it. EPIC EPIC EPIC
You feel this song I totally agree. Beautiful song Im in love with it
Absolutely
It’s devastating. It’s had me in tears. I don’t even know why.
@@ViciousMandy32 I can relate to that soo well. It pours dedication, committment and passion all over the place. It had and it has me in tears. This song and the album overall are so emotional for me, because it is the first time in 22 years that new Metallica stuff evokes the same feeling and connection on a deep human level in me. It feels amazing but i am shuffed at the same time. It is a special feeling!!! I never thought i would feel something like that in connection to Metallica ever again. It is special.
Just the sheer music brought me to tears. I wasn't even aware of the lyrics. I mean I noticed misery here and there.
If MetallicA were to end their career, this song is the way out. It can't be topped. Period. This is MetallicA, it's me, it's you. It's us. Thank you MetallicA for making us realize who we are. Thank you.
don't say that. we still can get one more album.
Or maybe a Papa Het solo album
I'm sure we can get just one more album, but anything after that is uncertain
so beautifully said. and yes, i hope they keep giving us these gifts
Spoken like a Metallica fan from the 2000s lol 🤦🏻♂️
@@StonedMcgee420James Hetfield once said that he hated the idea of rock band members having side projects, and that he only do music within Metallica.
I must say it. This is one of the best Matallica song of all time.
This and Spit out the Bone are the modern pieces by the band that can stand beside any of their classics from the 80s
Agreed. Haven't heard better since Justice. Nothing compares to James when it comes to write emotional melodies. This song is nothing but a masterpiece. I could listen to it on a loop 😂

I’m on at least my 15th listen. It’s already in my top 10 all time of theirs.
2 minutes in and I went to work.... which is a damn sight more than what the boys did when they phoned this spotiflix sh!t in.....
I think this is the best one, you can appreciate the Groovy riffs and the good vocal technique that James have
Agreed
Agreed!!!!, loving this one
lars's oversimplified drum and kick ruined the groove, otherwise it would be great
@procerus3654 We get it man you don't like the drums how many comments on it do you have to make?
The riff gives me Sabbath vibes
I love Robert, I honestly credit him for helping save Metallica after their lowest point in their career during the St. Anger era (I loved St. Anger btw). I think Rob helping encourage them to return to their roots from Death Magnetic forward, I remember hearing that he's responsible for Metallica playing songs live that they haven't played in years like "Call Of Cthulu". Rob is just a down to earth dude, such a loveable personality and he's a freaking beast on the bass! My love for Metallica will never die!
Looove the bass in the middle of this. And yeah, Rob's fucking awesome. Loved him since I saw him crab-walking on the stage when he first joined the band.
So he's the one to blame for the forced metal Metallica on the last couple of albums.
@@RickReasonnz Crab walking is cringe, he never fit the band.
@@DM-rc4yu This comment is cringe. Robert is just as much part of Metallica as Cliff and Jason were.
Jason was the heart of this band. They lost a great bassist and live backing vocals that for so goddamn perfect with Metallica.
In the end... He was the sacrificial lamb so Metallica could survive and evolve.
“Not while I’m living!” That scream gets me every time. Thank you James. All hail Metallica.
*not why I'm living.
What a masterpiece. It's like a mix of Outlaw Torn, My friend of Misery and a bit of Orion. Love it
Totally agree!
Hell yeah, I was just thinking that. Those are also some of my favorite Metallica songs.
It's definitely all of those three
@@luisamoa2500 obviously they are, or they wouldn't be able to remember those songs off of memory.
@@luisamoa2500 Your comment is quite amusing, lol. You say the other person is not fan because they like the "new" stuff aswell. Yet with that comment, you sound more like a "poser" metalhead wannabe than a fan ironically. Of course everydody has their own tastes in music, but saying there is not good stuff after the Balck Album (which the 80's diehards also discredited at the time), means you have no taste in general, with all due respect. If it weren't for the "new" stuff, I would not be here. Thanks to that music I listened to in 96-98, I became a mega fan of their work.
The video for this in theaters was remarkable. I hope they release that version as well. THANK YOU METALLICA, IN LOVE WITH THIS ALBUM!!
Did they have actual music videos with the band shown or was it just a bunch of videos like this?
@@zippyclips346 actual videos, but I think 1 or 2 were visualizers
@@zippyclips346it was kinda a mix of the two. The visuals were really cool, and no lyric videos were shown in the theater. For example, the visuals on crown of barbed wire was these trippy fractals... Shadows follow had a really neat topographic visualizer thing in it.. other songs had a straight up "music video" similar to lux æterna
Couldn't agree more! I could listen to that riff for hours (and will throughout today) meaty, lyrically amazing, in the theatre I had waves of chills! I love this album 🤘
@@MotionlessHorizxn Man, Shadows Follow and SPECIALLY Chasing Light made my head hurt with those visualizers.
The best song of the album, hands down. Pure, raw, unfiltered emotion.
@Jack Reid my life would be so sad if I were you
@Jack Reid Keep your negativity in you and let people enjoy music and life. I don't undesrtand why someone lose tme to write on comment of someone who ejoys song that song is not good. So sad. ;)
@Jack Reid I disappear? lol....OK...you're entitled to your opinion. Kind of funny you talk about repetition and then use I Disappear as an example. This song is far less repetitious than that. And this one isn't even the best example on this album. The title track is pretty amazing and way more unique than I Disappear. My opinion of course.
And one "snare sample"? It's called recording one snare DRUM. lol It's the way bands did it for decades. You know...actually mic'ing up a drum and using that sound. The drums sound really good on these songs. Nothing wrong with sampling drums but that doesn't make it a "flaw" if they don't do it. Just something that you don't like.
Personally I think it's the best guitar work I've heard Kirk do in ages. Actual melodies.
Again, you're entitled to your opinions, but your reasoning is pretty weak.
It’s a great track! Unfortunately I can’t say that about the rest of album all same sounding mehness
@@MrRoundthetwist weird. I feel like this one is a bit weak. The title track is my favorite so far. Very cool with all it's changes. To each their own though.
you're gonna see, this piece will become one of the essential tracks of Metallica of all time
I'm partial to their older stuff, but I honestly believe this is the greatest song they have ever composed.
@@anusmcgee4150 same here
The middle section is phenomenal. When it gets real mellow and then the beautiful instrumental part comes in. Unfortunately, the verses and choruses on this song, imo, are the most dull on the album. This song, for me, has the albums highest and lowest moments.
@@vandango901 The chorus is very groovy, I can't listen to it without nodding my head. The vocal harmonies add to it. Good stuff.
No........, BUT this is on par with Fixxer and Outlaw Torn which makes it absolutely epic in quality
this feels like a beautiful distant cousin of My Friend of Misery, obviously because of the reoccurring mention of misery, but the harmonizing guitars in the middle of the song feel like a nod to kirks solo in My Friend of Misery. The harmonies on his voice and his voice in general feels so clean and real. If this is the last song metallica releases, im okay with it. Even though im a die hard fan, this song feels like a love letter to the fans and their early lives. Rock on Metallica
Definitely made me think of My Friend of Misery as well. Wasn't enamoured with the intro but once the vocals started it hooked me.
I agree! had that vibe throughout.
I read this comment before hearing the song, and it when it got to the middle of the song I instantly heard what you described. Definitely had that vibe to it.

They’re far from done. There’s momentum building with 72 Seasons.
I really wasn’t a big fan of this album myself. I wanted more aggression but that’s just not them anymore. That being considered id like more soft ballady stuff with a lot of layers harmonies and panning like the last half of this track

37 years old and i still cant describe what i feel when i ear fresh music from Metallica. Thank you and long live.
James’s vocal melodies in the chorus are so catchy. He is at peak vocal performance.
I am relating to every single word in this song. It's comforting to know that someone like James and many other people feel the same towards their inner turbulence. I'm in a weird point in life, and the melodies of this song feel like Metallica are reaching out to me, giving me a tap on the back and being empathic towards my pain. The harmony part feels like opening a wound but immediately receiving a caress that says, "Hey man, it's ok that you feel that way. We know what it's like and it will pass.".
Well-said, my friend.
I also relate to Every Word. 😢 However at 43 Yrs old with the death of my wife, I have awakened.. Too much time wasted in Misery
I spent almost 30 yrs in a state of panic. .. James' lyrics s help me cope

All of us older metalheads love this song because of how life has been through the years. it’s poetic as hell and is warm and it’s like Metallica wrote this song to say things we know what you’re going through. You’re not alone, we got you!
I might be wrong, but I get Black Sabbath vibes from this song
@@stevenbender4896the vocals have a certain groove. And rob, just like geezer, has pretty notable funk roots. So that all may sum up to that view of yours
The only thing that I hate from this song is that it has an end. Just perfect. I love you Metallica.

11 minutes and 10 seconds and this epic masterpiece of a song still feels too short.
Put your headphones on, put Inamorata on repeat and lay back. Think about James struggles with drinking, marriage, family and the pressure of Metallica and you’ll know what he’s singing out.
Now equate that to your life and this song grabs you by the soul.

My friend has become my inamorata. What more can we ask for?
Long live Metallica. Here's wishing for more music from you guys down the line.

I really hope they release another album in the future, hopefully even more. But if Inamorata ends up being the last Metallica song ever released, I think it would be a perfect conclusion for the band. What a masterpiece.
One of the greatest songs..my god..can't wait to see em in sofi and Indio
They're definitely not done yet, judging by how Rob was talking in the So What! interview. Let's just hope it'll take less than eight or six years this time around.
I had the same thoughts.
Hopefully they do make more music.
If they speed up production to make one album every 3 or 4 years, we should get at least 3 more.
The only problem I've ever had with Metallica is the year's between albums. I suppose they don't need to but 6 and 8 years between albums, is ridiculous... There's surely thousands of Riffs in the vault, well we got a new one now thanks to Covid I reckon and it's gonna be a cracker. Fan since 86....
My Friend of Misery is in my opinion one of Metallica's most underrated gems. This song feels inspired by Misery...the lyrics certainly are. Then there is the solo....Sounds like they are cut from the same cloth. Love this song!!

I was listening the album while walking on my way home. When this song started it felt different from the rest of the album immediately. And then I started to feel it was like a tour for certain songs of their discography, until 9:23...
I started to think of the emotions that my two favorite ending-section of a song make me feel everytime I listen to them: Fade To Black and Orion, and this just stood at its own.
I will never EVER forget that the only way I could react was just stop walking... My mind was overwhelmed with these emotions that made me shed a tear.

Yes and it was pointed out to me today, that’s he’s even better with sobriety.
His voice is better than ever though very impressive yet he always states that he sings like sailor.

I think this is a sign that you are here for a reason......
That closing riff is otherworldly. Never heard anything like that. Just heavy+groove. Wow
I get Rush vibes. I think it has some major chord elements which is unusual, hence beautiful in Metallica.
The best song from this album. They used to put the masterpiece at the end. Those harmonies, great riffs, catchy chorus, and great atmosphere. I don`t know what James did with his voice but I think he should continue
the harmony solo is feom My friend of misery. Just tweaked differently. Thought you should know.
i think he lifted his voice up to a higher level. Like in The memory remains.

It’s like remaking the acquaintance of an old friend to find he’s not forgotten you and is as loyal as ever. For me their new work is like drinking from the fountain of youth…….and it tastes so good. It’s magic and I’m proud to say I love Metallica. They’ve been in my life since I was 14 and I can’t imagine life without them. This song tells a much more common story that someone may go through compared to their older songs, and it's amazing. It adds a new aspect of familiarity that I haven't heard in many metallica songs as a 17 year old. 5:40 to 6:40 goosebumps! I can’t imagine saying goodbye to a love I’ve been with for 30 years, but James seems to be holding his head high and dignified.
It's not about an actual lover, you know. He's personifying misery, the emotion.
@@augustuslxiii He went through a divorce while writing this. Can't be a coincidence.
@@alarmgoesdingThe song seems to be a lot more about how he chooses not to be miserable, because it will just eat him alive.
I can relate to Hetfield's meaning directly; as I am going thru a long, heartbreaking split from my soulmate, and twin flame, of 10 yrs... we were divided and finally brought down by other people's Jealousy and hatred for what we had. It kind of hurts, listening to this
One could interpret this song several ways, but i think that he’s talking about addiction and alcohol when he refers to misery.
Opening riffs sound like a darker Outlaw Torn, and 6:40 onwards instantly reminded me of Baroness. That whole melodic section with the harmonies is one of the best moments in Metallica’s history.
Agree
I see my friend of misery all over this song, especially the solo (or riff) here at 7:15 which have the same melody of the one in MFoM. The lyrics also obviously
If you get NITPICKY....The notes in Bends form Darkness Had Son Were Copy One Different from The Agonizing Disposable Heroes Riff... Simply Techniques They Own...
@@KaiAst I think you both right. For me, thats the beauty of Metallica. When people say they sell out or some album is not "real" Metallica, we can see all 2-3 different albuns vibes in the same song, because everything they did was honest and, now, it is part of their style.
6:10 is Unforgiven III
7:27 is totally James' solo on Outlaw.
Haha
How can a song about Misery be so beautiful? Insane, best song since Bleeding me.
My goodness this is a masterpiece possibly some of their best harmony work ever
Hold your horses
no XD
@@nachosama01 no XD
That final "No! No!". Goosebumps every single time.
Listening to this masterpiece reminded me why I love Metallica. They invade my ears and heart, make my blood race in my veins, ever since, and today, once again. Thank you Metallica, with love from Brazil 🇧🇷❤
And some tears go down
Bonito elogio amigo brasileiro!
BRAZIL
Hey phoenix can you tell ur age bro? Txs
Siento lo mismo... Metallica por siempre !!
Holy...Fuck. This album is amazing. Having grown up with Metallica...The evolution...The raw emotion...The twists and turns... You don't see them coming... Exactly what life throws at you. Thank you, Metallica. Thank you for sharing this with us. It's been one hell of a ride!
Totally agree!!! 😊👍🏾
After some years this album will be reminded as a classic. Specially this song
this is garbage. clean your ears
The day Metallica stops making music we could definitely say that the spirit of metal is dead. I hope that day never comes, I love you guys, Metallica forever and ever. ❤️
But today they live on brother!
I love how strong Rob's bass is in the mix on this album. The guitars wouldn't sound as good without it. I also like how he compliments the melody with his own licks in the kind of clean section. This song doesn't feel like 11min. It feels like half that. That's a good sign. 👍 They did a good job on this one.
8:42 to the end. That riff and the way he sings Misery. I can really feel that. Sitting here with tears. Theres alot of emotions right now.
Dude the eruption in the middle brought me to tears. This is their most beautiful song ❤
Just think of cameron diaz. That always makes me puke instead.
Same brother, i finished this song in tears.
Kirks lead at the end is incredible, amazing song, 11 minutes doesnt feel long enough and that in itself is an achievement
8:53 this part here is so good it brings tears to my eyes.
I agree
lol
Maybe the best Metallica's album in last 30 years. Masterpiece!
1. And Justice for All
2. Master of Puppets
3. Ride the Lightning
(Now its Controversial i know)
4. St. Anger
5. Black Album
6. 72 Saisons / Kill em All
I've never heard Metallica like this before. I'm speechless after this song.
this is basically bleeding me plus halo on fire.
well, It's not exactly that we've never heard anything like this from them, it's a mix of Black Album riffs and Load songwritting
I feel load & reload vibes in the whole album especially in this song and “you must burn”
Load just a masterpiece album but some of Metallica fans are so anti Load&Reload because “they are not heavy enough”
Just open your ears
Man, there is so much hurt in these lyrics and in several of the other songs. Very heavy and emotionally painful to listen to when you relate so much to what's being said. Misery and depression can feel like home when you live in it for so long and it's hard to let go of. Happiness and joy can seem so foreign that your brain views it as a threat and tries to chase it away, leaving you in the safety of your own misery. That's what I take away from these lyrics anyway, and I've been there. Hope James is ok and is breaking away from it. Depression is a nasty enemy, but it can be overcome.
I would say for three years we all had this misery like a black cloud over us this whole album is just a reflection Of the past three years of the pandemic if you think about it listen to the whole album just with that in mind
This is the kind of song I was hoping for to hear in the album, this is the one.
I'm really loving 72 Seasons but this song is VINTAGE Metallica! Clear and definite favorite from an already awesome album! LOVE this song!
Yes alot of people were hating on it but I like it better than Hardwired. Drumming is much better.
Not hating on it but I don't think there's anything vintage Metallica about it. Pretty far from that tbh
Stay strong James we love you!! Great album MetallicA!!
This brings me tears just as like To Live Is To Die. The section which starts after the scream "Not Why I'm living!" (feels to me like a scream of pain on a side and freedom on the other), it's just perfect, it's just like, "now it's time to let it go".
And that's exactly the same feeling I get with the solo after the arpeggio in To Live Is To Die.
I think Hetfield feels the loss of important persons in a very deep way, he suffers from the bottom. But in the end he can digest his own feeling so well he can sing about, finding a way to relief. Finding a way to tell the world that life can be shit, but you're gonna make it through.
That fuckin' shakes me.
i saw this last night at the cinemas. Best night of my life. Great job guys!!
Ive seen them in cinemas here in Colombia. It was insane
I saw it in England. The sound was epic. I was headbanging with my popcorn 🍿
That Melodic Part In The Song Reminds Me Of Iron Maiden
saw it in cinema too, it was alright, but it reminded me why i hated lars's playing. sure he might've been on time, but WAY too simple for what others delivered to the songs.
Yeah! Saw it here in Germany. Great stuff! :D
In my opinion the best song from the 72 seasons! What a masterpiece, perfect
I have to admit, this is one of the best pieces Metallica has ever put out.
yes, and I mean that, despite them having a catalog that's over 40+ yrs with their most legendary pieces. This track hits so much more differently than anything else they had ever made before, this was Metallica doing something absolutely original. When this track ended, I was left speechless. And lets not even begin on that slow tempo, calm part where rob is playing a lick like burton did on Orion, with the harmonies just adding onto it. In a way, this song kinda felt like a dedication to Cliff as well, considering there were so many musical aspects in this song that you generally don't see in any of their other music.
And yes, despite being 11 min long it still qualifies as one of their best.
Brought to you by your local clinically insane Metallica fan
couldn't agree more with you! Also having listened to every Metallica song extensively.
This album doesn't have a bad song. I'm so excited! Thank you Metallica!
Now that's cap 😂
I agree! All bangers 🤘 except maybe darkness had a son..a little weak that one
@@alextanguay5886 i agree, although they played a shorter version live and the energy the song gave was great!
@@bobisonyoutube yeah it was pretty weak and boring on the record, but man that live performance just had a completely different energy 🤘🤘🤘
this album has 2 good songs the rest is boring heard a thousand times especially ulrich's drumming is uninspired boring and predictably no surprises
ive spent the last 2 days learning how to play this song.... these riffs... the vocals... this song is a masterpiece
Me too dude, right on!
if this is a masterpiece, what is Orion? Come on man
@@eduardocolella try again
masterpiece? hahahaaha
@@eduardocolella Another masterpiece.
I cant believe, this is giving me goosebumps! This song is absolutetly a misterpiece, from the beginning til the end. AMAZING.
AH GOD, THAT SCREAM.
This album is an entire journey, ending with this masterpiece.
I feel like they released the worse(relatively)(I love all of this album) songs as singles to prepare is for the masterpieces that released in the full album
@@ZekeTheMan623 I kinda agree with that although if darkness is sounding amazing right now
honestly, the whole album needs to be re-done when it comes to drums, as lars sounds like he copy pasted his drum patterns for every song, save for speeding up and slowing down. And it shows in this song, many moments where his usual kick and snare just don't work, and it ruins the experience that the riffs would otherwise deliver.
@@procerus3654 I hear what you are saying but in all honesty I'd rather lars just kept it solid at this point in his career. The drumming is uninspired but it serves a purpose and at his age its not going to get more flashy.
@@paulmallon9292 i mean, it would be fine if it was less pronounced in songs, more in background, but he makes it so you can hear it too loud and clear, while leaving Rob behind, like every stereotypical metal band. And my brain no like that very much
This song is just epic. It's one of the best they've ever written I believe.
And it’s to say a lot of … they have many brilliant songs
Whoever engineered Robert's bass on this album should win an award! James sounds the best he's ever sounded (in my opinion). To all involved, thank you for letting us know great music still exists in 23 🤘
Bruhhhhhhhh "James sounds the best he's ever sounded" oh my god you need new ears
And the fact that his voice is so clean is because of pitch correction
a really great surprise how the album sounds
@@SonOfIzalith All sources would indicate that James doesn't use auto pitch. I wouldn't mind seeing proof to back that accusation
@@KarlAbroad21 lmao "accusation"
It's not something negative to me
Even tho it is for intricate minds like metal listeners 🤡
@@SonOfIzalith Why do you comment if you're going to say rude things for no reason?
Inamorata is an absolute masterpiece. Once you figure out the depth of the meaning, it really grabs you.
That song is like an old friend you didn’t see for very long , just give me the feeling, amazing.
This song is Metallica at their best. Instant classic. Belongs up there with their other classics. An all time song. Love it!
Personal lyrics, hard hitting riff, soft interlude. Metallica at its best.
@mind5403I agree, it's the one thing I can't fucking stand in this album
@Mind Seiously... super obnoxious when drummers hit their drums. There's also that part where Kirk, Rob, and James use the strings on their guitars. And especially when James uses his vocal cords. Who the hell do these guys think they are using their instruments... in a band... making music!!!???
It’s the classic Metallica
@MIND I think the hi hat itself is not the problem, but it's mixed in WAY too fucking loud.
@@kendrasdustyroad drumming can be bad, guitar playing can be bad, etc. Lars' use of hi hat in the middle section of the song was completely unnecessary and it doesn't fit in the song at all. Did you even consider that in your pea brain, before you made that absolutely retarded comment?
A lot of recovery in this song. Brilliantly written
Instant classic... That break... Love the Wah Wah...great vocals... Lars on Point...
Wah Wah
I didn’t think at 43 that I could get addicted to a song like I was a teenager again! Awesome
I think that the song showcases just how much of an influence Black Sabbath has on Metallica in general. Very great stuff!
Just love the sound of James voice in this one, Suttle, Soulfull & Heavy all at the same. This song is just magnificent.
The "planet caravan" section ... incredible. It seems like they were not worried about sounding musically complex. The whole album, very simple riffs for the most part. But powerful lyrics and the sheer consistency made this probably one of their best albums of all time.
This song is so emotionally charged and powerful. I think it might have just become my favorite Metallica song ever. ❤
Best song since the Black Album.
Ive listened to Inamorata 3 times now and love the main riff, so emotional song. I don’t mind the 11 mins at all
Hell no even The Struggle Within is better
❤
@@SolarGlu 2 totally different styles of songs ya sausage
This is legendary... Reminds me old stuff like Orion, Outlaw Torn, Call of Ktulu...
For real, and the vocals have some really nice references to My friend of mysery
I'm convinced these guys can play anything and rock it. Absolute legends
Listened to this album all day at work and every time I get to this song I repeat it about 4 or 5 times. Definitely my favorite track on the album. Congratulations Metallica on an amazing album you guys are awesome!
