The result is all that matters in the cup. I wouldn't worry about the performance too much as it was largely our second string side playing out there

When we won't the cup in 1980 I was moaning about our performance as we left the ground against Orient when we'd won 2-3. Someone said we won, it's the result that counts. Our name is on the cup.
I was at that game cc. To be fair Orient had a decent side for a few years there. I am an Orient fan and loved those cup and division 2 games against the Irons. It amazed me how a side with Brooking, Parkes and Devonshire, arguably some of the best players ever, a personal preference, played outside the top flighr.. The cup win against Arsenal sure made up for it. I went to that final..my only..I love the O's but also appreciate great players.
I'm sure I speak for all O's, Colchester and Southend fans and how we would love to play the Irons, Spurs and Arsenal..but the way football has gone over the last 25 years it seems so far off now.

Worrying signs that our season is going to fizzle out after another inept performence i.e Leeds 2-3 saints 2-3 that today was stinking again. 🤣 imagine saying we can’t get better depth than Yarmolenko Masuaku Kral and retiring noble. We had money to bid 100m for raphina and Phillips but didn’t wanna use that money for strong depth options. Moyes is a boss for what he’s done but that is a tragic mistake

Moyes must now realise that our third choice RB should be a no choice RB. Diop is unable to deal with any physical game so no idea why he started him today in a away cup tie against a non league side. Yarmo playing a 120 mins was painful. Almost as painful as us trying to score without a recognised striker again. Can't blame Rice or Bowen if they want to leave in the Summer. Or Benrahma.
We were dreadful. Fornals played better when he came on. I think he actually played the pass that send Rice on his way to score. What has happened to Fredricks??? He’s pony since that injury. We are not in great shape. Moyes should of at least brought in a couple just so the others can rest. Diop, Fredricks, Kral, Yarmo, Artur, should all be gone. But then your looking at 5 players before we even start getting a forward in. Unless we do spend some serious doe or at least start bedding in the youth it’s not a good look.

I think Kidderminster was well worth the win they put everything into this game unlike Yarmolenko who really couldn't give a fuck, If our players have a sense of honour and decency which Mark Noble has they should donate their win bonuses to the Kidderminster players as a mark of respect
