    I had the same thing happen here at spacecoast harley.. . brought my 114 lrs with zippers cam and slip ons to be dyno tuned..turned out pretty good and I was pleased with the performance and mpg etc. I brought my new 117 lrs to them with the same exact cam and pipe for a dyno tune. I got the exact same numbers, maybe 3 more TQ. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Turns out, after looking at my tune, they just pulled over my 114 tune they previously did and flashed it to my bike.. everything is identical VE tables, AFR, Blade Control, everything... and charged me another 500 dollars. Isn't that nice?

    RC Cycles in Hayward does Dyno Tunning. There is a tuner there and that's all he does. The shop does other things. I was in the room with him the whole time he did mine and we each test road it till it was right on. I would put a Thunder Header on it. The M8 does not like a short exhaust and needs more back pressure then what you are using.

    i have 475 s&s with short tbr turnout and im running a fuel moto tuned that i auto tuned and it definitely gets way better milage then yours. the tune actually works really well other then low rpms.

    I feel you. I have a 23 fxlrs and after the stage 2, i get literly like 130 mpg if im city riding. If im in the highway ill get 180/200 which is when you really want them miles but anyways gas is expensive now a days. I knew i was going to take a hit on the city miles but not like that. I tuned it at one of the most respectable tuners in soflo. So i guess its the price of the cam. Mine smells super rich also. But when u hit that gass damnnn sounds sharp sharp

    ton of research bout cams and tunes but sounds like you didn’t do the research on the tuner himself . Keep up with the good videos

      @@Sean-uc5vj he was recommended by a friend (who had a 128” installed and tuned by the same guy), he’s one of two tuners in my city. Figured I’d support my local tuner 🤷, I’ll definitely be riding a further out for my next tune 🤦🏼‍♂️

    It’s not the exhaust. It’s the tune. You definitely need to go to a reputable tuner.. come out to Az and have motorwitch tune it.

    • @InfamousCreep
      @InfamousCreep  26 днів тому

      Yep, I was playing the devils advocate but I agree the new exhaust shouldn’t be the issue. I also swapped the intake to a S&S 55mm intake, I’ll just have to get it retuned for sure

      @@InfamousCreep well plan a trip out to Az, have Danny aka motorwitch tune it! Doors open here at the casa bro.!

    Get a thundermax you can tune yourself that way, its what I do

    • @InfamousCreep

      I tried using the auto tune feature in the power jet, but it just wasn’t working. I have to purchase the target tune pro for the auto tune to work properly. Figured I’d be better off paying the tuner to also get the dyno numbers sheet. Just gonna end up paying the $600 for the dyno tune 🤦🏼‍♂️

    • @ryanridesmoore
      @ryanridesmoore 29 днів тому

      i'd advise against this. i had a thunder max and i only got 150 mi (if i was lucky) on my 6gal tank with a 475 cam. i ran mine for about 3000k miles before i took it out and went back to powervision. now i get 200 mi a tank with my professionally tuned bike. Thundermax's still need to be tuned by a professional.

      They’ve been in business for a while, and I’ve seen some decent engine builds from them. Another shop near them told me, they typically charge $800 for a tune 🤦🏼‍♂️. Guess I’m lucky I only wasted $600

    I would not ride the bike like that. your duping way to much fule I would call power vision ask them to send you a tune and go from there.. if he just dropped a can tune in it thats awful// its not tuned a can tune is just to get it to the dyno for a proper tune. hope it works out. but you need to make sure the fule Ratio are good. I cant believe he didn't talk to you and let you know what was going on and what he did to fix it. if he even fixed it. it's awful you paid that for this. I would bite it because that much fuel can hurt your bike.. and performance is going to be awful along with the Miles per gallon.. or talk to him again eathier he puts it back on and gets it rite or give your money back so you can go else where.. And get it done right don't mess around hear you can really hurt the motor thats way to much fuel like having an open injector just dumping fuel its going to run awful the PCM is not adjusted for the amount of fuel going into the bike.. (((((O Yeah if it has Traction control there is somthing else that has to be done. and it has to be off while putting the tune in.. if its got it look into it))))). Good luck ride safe...
