I think the bugs should be able to use their free jumps to avoid most of the imp gunline, but Vader will be able to push in and flush them out. Narrow Imp victory.
I don't think the viper droid contributes to the melee attack pool of the B2 unit. It's only ranged, so in melee he just sits there and looks pretty. Also, on a different note, Poggle's 1 pip is so nice on paper, but I have never seen anyone actually set up and execute that play. It's just so insanely difficult, and it pretty much means you're sacrificing Poggle.
We doubled checked with the large discord and was told he can add to melee he just has to shut his gun during range since he is side arm range. Thanks! -Joe
I am predicting a victory for the Empire! It's great to see Sun Fac on the table though. I'm curious if he will get some tweaks later on since he's a bit overpriced imo.
Gotta give it to the bugs here, the Empire list feels like its trying to do too much at once. Veers with AT, a handful of various scattered infantry units with an ok amount of investment, an AT-ST, and I think the biggest thing, Vader but without most of his command cards. I think a good portion of Vader's strength is his command hand, but the rest of the list was designed to revolve around Veers instead. I think the Veers infantry heavy idea is interesting, just clashed a bit too much with Vader and what he does. As for the bug list, I def do think bugs are quite solid (tho competing with B2s for slots is a tough one right now) I think situational awareness has lost a lot of value tho and those points could be better served elsewhere. I also feel like either defensive protocols or attack protocols are probably better on the flamer now than engagement since it is super easy to get around AI anyways and engagement is not only the most expensive, but also lacks any secondary buffs to the unit.
Okay, normally I would think Don is going to win as he's on a roll, but Joe COULD just have lucky dice... so I'm going with (Going with Empire for real)
It may be old legion instincts talking, but I have a hard time seeing the Geonosians lasting long under the Empire ranged firepower, especially with Vader running about. I am rooting for the droids, but I think Empire will take this.

I like burst of speed to get him stuck in, saving the surges for defense dice. I try to bring royal guards to protect him. Still not sure on them.
