    OK, Now, Why are you dumping the corn on the ground....?? How do you store the corn....?? Haven't seen that done here in Pennsylvania. Thanks.

    "Picking corn the old way"??......Looks pretty modern to me. Pickin' corn the old way was four of us going down the rows pickin' the ears by hand and tossing them on a wagon being pulled by 1938 Case Model C tractor. A few years before that the wagon was pulled by two mules, Jim and Jeb. Then the wagon was pulled along side of the corn crib and the corn was hand shoveled up seven feet into an opening in the crib. Took a lot of work to fill the corn cribs. Didn't have elevators or New Idea Corn Pickers back then, it was all hand labor. Back-breaking work. Oh, My, you were really tired by the end of the day. Good thing there was Corn Huskers Hand Lotion way back in those days.....!!

    Spent a lot of hours behind one those old pickers talk about being sore if you get hit by a ear of corn
