    Tiffany Jones is Marcus Alert Coordinator of Arlington County’s Department of Human Services (DHS). She is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, oversight, and monitoring of the requirements of Virginia’s Marcus-David Peters Act within Arlington County. As Ms. Jones would say, she is “ensuring a collaborative effect and partnership between First Responders and Behavioral Health." Ms. Jones has a passion for and extensive knowledge of seeking Restorative Justice. One of her greatest accomplishments was being the first clinical intern to implement a Case Management Services function at Columbus Community Legal Services, which has provided clinical opportunities for Graduate Social Work students at The Catholic University of America.

    Ms. Fortson challenged Arlington County to prevent officials from acquiring property at 1802 Columbia Pike that has belonged to her family for decades. County officials planned to take the property through eminent domain in order to build safety improvements to nearby roads.
