My company bought the gimbal recently and I've experience noticeable motor noise issue when you turn. The faster you turn the more noise you hear.

Thanks for making this video. Has convinced me not to buy it. The noise is not the only reason.. Also I don't want more gear; having to not only carry but to mount, balance, etc

Just got my Crane 2 today, same problem on mine. Appears when panning the gimbal, altough the noise comes from the pitch motor. :/

I have returned mine and got my money back. I'm scare to get another one. Maybe I will go for the Crane v2 but then you commented your issue :/ I might check out another brand.

True. However, mine's by far not that loud, doubt it would ruin any shots with a shotgun mic. It's like a high pitched hissing, almost like a coil whine. I could probably live with that, but another odd thing on mine is that when used in Follow mode and you tilt it down by leaning forward, it doesn't fully level horizontally back when placing it on a flat surface (whick makes it point straight forward) then. It's still pointing like 10 degreece down. Is that normal?

Thanks for the info. It's a good gimbal, but built quality is poor.

Did u get the noise fixed?

I had a lot of filming projects do we didn't have time to return it now. I still have the warranty - I think I might be able to get it fix. But it's all the way to China :/
