How has your distribution been doing? A friend of mine told me he is thinking about moving more towards the brew pub model. He said the distribution side hasn't been as reliable as he would like. His tap room and restaurant have been carrying the company lately. Also the cans themselves have gone up in price, I think he said 47%.
Yea in 2022, as a new business, I think that you need picture perfect brand recognition, marketing, and a good dose of luck to make it in a distribution heavy model.
Great videos . I got my first bartending job may2021 at a brewery near my house. Now I’m doing cellar work and milling grains and testing fermentors. Kinda fell into it I’m feeling super grateful to be learning the trade.
My roomates delivery driver just got fired and so they are finally willing to Give me a shot after 6 months of bugging and asking if anything opens to let me know, it’s a tight nit brewery out in Zion’s national park called Zion’s brewery so I’m Super excited to Start delivering and work my way into the learning of brewing
I know I am a year late on this video. But I have applied to a Craft brewing and Packing program/course locally. This program will give me a basic knowledge of all three sides. I love beer and it wasn't until we got some local craft breweries that I thought it would be a good job for me to make beer. I am quite detail oriented and would be proud to be part of a team that makes good beers and maybe even one day starting my own business.
Ha, that's crazy, im going the other way. I was a homebrewer turned brewer/lead cellarman at a production brewery. Now im running a small farm. How the turn tables.
