super cars like that look fancy, and.. no, thats it. Lots of cars go fast, they are all a nightmare to insure and maintain. If you really wanna push them, there's only a few places(depending on where you live) that will actually allow you to press them, and for many parts of the world, they are extremely inconvenient cars. I'd love to try one, ONCE, and be happy. I'd never care to own one :p

I've often wondered about all of his drone flying around NYC and how it was viewed by the authorities considering all of the regulations I've read about what is and isn't allowed. I have to add that I've enjoyed all of his drone shots tremendously.

All of it's details aren't available yet, but for example, I found that a lot of people have reported him to the FA and used links to his videos for proof, one person filed 330 individual complaints of him, including flying without having a commercial license. This could end up leading to a fine in excess of $250,000, jail time, and being barred from ever flying a drone again. Especially since he's a public figure, they might use him as an example, unfortunately. :(

Casey great review as always love your videos so much fun to watch! I have a question, is there any truth.... DJI is submitting your flight records to the FAA if you accidentally fly in a no-fly zone? This concerns me because I was under the assumption that if you attempt to take off in a no-fly zone with the go for app it would not let you? Any information would be greatly beneficial.

It looks like the colours on the Spark are way better than the Mavik Pro. Will need to do some more research on this ..... A good first review of the drone 👍
That's just cause casey's setting's were really bad, I could fix that with one tap.
I can second that. If you want stunning images from the Mavic, shoot in D-Log and color correct it afterwards
Images are also also more brighter. Hinting that it might perform better in low light.
this dude had his settings way off. u can easily correct the brightness etc just by tweaking the settings, you dont even need post production. even though sparks small, it cant be folded which just kills it for me
The Mavik has better black and higher resolution as you can see on the high gloss clear coat that the spark doesn't achieve. To brighten or bring vivid colors on the Mavik , it can be achieved many ways including apps or desktop software . I would buy the Spark if it was listed $499 or less in Canada . I'll be going to the Palawan Islands and the Maldives in January 2018 for a month. I would love to test the Dji Spark.

Compared to the Mavic Pro the Spark has a rather warm color temperature profile ergo looks more saturated out of the box.

KiterTodd just look up ALL of the FAA regulations on drones...There is alot of them and the fact that the drone industry is booming I have a feeling the FAA is going to be investigating alot more
When I looked at the FAA regulations, if laying in 5 miles of an airport - can't flight. If you fly, that is a $17,000 fine. Totally manageable for Casey but life altering for everyone else.
Hopefully they fine him big time. He's been so reckless in order to get views. He can afford the fine!!!

Casey your videos and tutorials are the BEST . I have flown Dji drones for 4 years now. I just got the Mavic pro this week. Its awesome and the best I have flown to date. I am using the Samsung 8+ and tryed to live stream 2x and it plays fine, in realtime, but very choppy and glitchy on Facebook screen. Do you have any advice or suggestions. Thanks

Great job guys, I just bought myself a DJI Spark for Christmas and I’m really glad that I waited until now to pick up a drone; as the tech and the price are finally starting to come into line. I needs do not justify a Professional, conversely I still need more than a novice or Toy Drone. So a Prosumer drone such as the DJI Spark is perfect for me as it allows me to collect 1080p data, from a device that is compact and is still a tool rather than a toy. The price point is high but not ridiculous. After all this is still a tool, not a toy. It’s got some weight, heft & serious tech within it. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you feel it. I will be very surprised if DJI does not completely nail it with this product and destroy all sales expectations for this year. Chapeau with this video guys!!!

Hey Casey, i've seen a other video where they used hand gestures to move the DJi SPARK, do you have the same version and have you tried it?
On the FAA investigation:
Casey no longer needs to worry about the legal consequences for not registering his drones. The FAA's rule requiring drone registration was just ruled illegal (as of a few hours ago). www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/appeals-court-strikes-down-faa-registry-recreational-drones-n763871
However, if there are any state-specific or city-specific rules concerning drone flights in NYC, Casey probably has broke them a ton and may still be in legal trouble.
I do believe in September 2016 the FAA declared NYC a no-fly zone. Casey is going to be in a lot more trouble than we think, especially as it's very possible they'll make an example of him because of his audience
