I’m tempted! You’ve shot this video very well and I’m happy to see you getting better each video too your break is coming soon I know it! I would have never thought of getting a watch that small but you may have just convinced me…
Thank you! Each video is a step for a better me I guess 😅 I think everyone needs a vintage/vintage styled watch and this is a great option! The shots are cool but seeing the dial in person is a different story.
Perfect! The original Marlin's are also going to have a better movement inside if serviced so this is the way to go. Great purchase, will keep my eyes open too!
Thank you 🙏🏼 I agree - since they cheaped out a bit on the bracelet and movement a sapphire crystal would have been a good trade-off. Even so, I guess they could ‘claim’ they went for acrylic to stick to the original roots! Like you said, love the watch still! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I get what you mean! If it was 36mm I could see it being more popular. Now if it was 38mm? We would have every colour dial imaginable and countless reviews. I still enjoy the smaller size but would have never got it until I wore some smaller Casios and enjoyed the look/comfort.
The movement is lower-end and can be damaged easily if you overwind it, so if you do get this watch only wind the crown and stop as soon as you feel a bit of resistance. It is quite a basic movement so reliability should be fine, but don't expect it to last for years and years like a Miyota or ETA. Servicing it yourself may be a bit difficult as the movement itself is rumoured to be a modified Seagull ST6 - so not much information out there or videos to follow.
Lo has visto?

I recently got a 1970s Timex Marlin for $5 at an antique sale. Its been serving me quite well, probably the best $5 I've ever spent.

Great Video!! Love this watch
Thank you! I appreciate the comment - the watch is awesome!
Great review Love this watch but it should come at least with sapphire Crystal

I wish they made it in a 36mm. I like smaller watches but 34mm is just a bit too small.

Is the movement reliable and easy to service?

It looks like my father's 1960 Omega seamaster.
I really hope this classical styling (and sizing) comes back more. Just such a classy look! Hope your fathers watch is still ticking!
What ia price
I paid £150 which is equivalent to $200
