I knew AI would be something I'd see start to blossom in my lifetime. I never thought it'd happen this soon, or that it'd be making me laugh my absolute ass off in a way I haven't since I was a little kid. What a time to be alive.
Wait till cyborgs become mainstream in like 20 years, wouldn't be suprised if U.S./China/Russia have early prototypes/research. AI could generate the body and facial features, voice, and personality all to an stunning degree of reality. Shit is gonna be dystopian as hell

I can’t believe Gandalf’s description of what Boromir did to Apollo’s mother caused Apollo to break. But then the AI recognized that Apollo was broken and just rolled with it. Fantastic.
I didn't catch this until seven chapters were already out, but DAMN do I wish I could have! I hope Athene will keep these coming, although I understand his concerns on viewership and would also love to see him reach a higher following, the quality is still top notch, so I doubt I'm only speaking for myself when I say there are people who'd really appreciate more of this in the future.

Athene, I just want to say, I wish I could tune in live, but it's right smack dab in the middle of the US work day. That might be a reason why you're not getting the reach you expect. Love the show! I wish I could watch this live with my friends after work.

You guys need to name your episodes with regards to the content that will attract people to click on it, accurate descriptive titles sadly just don't drive clicks.

I dont think you need to worry about views. its like 10k views on a 1 hour show. That's a lot of watch time. And it hasnt even blown up yet. Once it blows up and people watch the history, views are gonna be insane.

the problem with 24/7 is some spam 1000 shlong or other brainless questions a minute and some think thought out questions and of those 1000 spam questions 900 get answered and good questions get ignored

The AI taking over what people do/can do element is only dystopian because of capitalism. We have the resources and the technology--more so every day, as you noticed--to do away with money entirely. To end homelessness and hunger. To provide unlimited access to education and healthcare. But we live in capitalist societies where the loss of work means the loss of income, and the loss of income means poverty, hunger, homelessness, despair, and even death. Profit and money are everything, and we're already at a point in human history where people are finding it harder and harder to remain relevant and to find employment that pays a living wage.
I hope the advances in technology and in AI will lead to a better future, but I fear that it will only lead to us having ever less money, resources, and freedom--and probably eventually to us eating Soylent Green.
