Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

Before psilocybin, my life had no meaning. I didn't care if I died or not. I guess I was sorta sticking around because my mother would be sad if I were gone. After psilocybin, I had one of the noetic experiences and found meaning in why I want to live. It was so powerful and wonderful, and I look back thinking I could have ever wanted to end it all. I can't even remember why I was so sad, I simply was.

in amsterdam in 2006 i took shrooms and sat at the hostel’s bar. i was chilling with my friends and all of a sudden i was shocked by the fact that i could see the table was brown but at the same time, if i touched it, it felt definitely purple. then i saw and thought a lot of crazy stuff and at some point i had a hard time remembering where or who or even what i was. i was like “i am jacopo. no wait that’s just my name. a name is a word, i’m not a word!”. i had to gradually reconstruct myself one piece at a time

Just had psilocybin and had what they called a bad trip, despite of that I considered it a profound and a wakeup call. I died several times in the trip and I had to let go in able to come back. I dont know if it makes sense. But it was real to me.

the really interesting part of synesthesia with psychedelics is that its not actually the same as synesthesia for people (like me) who actually have synesthesia sober, its more chaotic and far less consistent or enduring yet still provides a brief experience of my daily existence (to some degree obviously there are many types of synesthesia and i only have one type)

I've tried it 6 or 7 times now and do not find it pleasurable. Am I the only one? I thought it would be amazing like the LSD (we always called it acid) we did in the 80's but it wasn't. Mushrooms are completely different. It wasn't Euphoric at all. I tried microdosing and one level above "theraputic" and I was like what's all the hype about? It made me feel kind of like Sh*t

You can get out of habits easier after a mushroom trip and get a different routine going, I couldnt even finish a cigarette afterwards because it almost made me throw up with how horrible it tasted.
