- I haven't been able to get out for the specific reason of shooting videos in six weeks! I have simply had too much going on in my life. Nothing bad, just things I needed to do, and places I wanted to go. I have, however, been doing my duty as a volunteer at the Tehachapi Depot Museum, and always shoot a few trains when I am there, so I hope you don't mind the plethora of trains at that location!
I love ❤️ Watching your Tehachapi Pass Videos on UA-cam Mark
Beautiful shots in the background. Central CA at its finest
We’ll Mark nice Day and fantastic catch 👍🏻😎 Robin out . Be safe 👍🏻
I find your coverage in and around the depot just as good as seeing stuff in the loop area seen alot of that loop😅thanks for everything
That last centerbeam at 7:21 with the mark NOKL belongs to the Northwestern Oklahoma Railway, a very shortline(5 miles active) railway in Woodward, OK. Their main business is switching for BNSF but they have all kinds of cars for lease all over US, Mexico, and Canada. There was also a NOKL covered hopper on that BNSF grain train.
Very cool video Mark, plenty of power and variety too! (Dave).
great video sir 👌👌❤❤😍😍
Excellent presentation Mark ❤👍😊
Thank you, Sir!
Nice! Ya caught 6236 it was probably on UP MRVEP or UP MRVWC if I’m correct. If i got the direction wrong the probably Roseville
Ok. So i love to speculate, but that manifest with the empty center beams was headed for Roseville.
Lots of power on that 2nd train (UP n/b). Do you recall how many units are allowed to be online on this subdivision?
The sub timetable refers back to the Special System Instructions for train makeup and locomotive use. Looking through the System Special Instructions, I see no restrictions on how many units may be operative. Many factors determine locomotive use such as AC or DC, Controlled Tractive Effort, Equivalent Powered and Dynamic Brake Axles, and other factors. Looks like it's time for me to do a SSI video!
Harley or XS650 with the right gear any ride is bitchen.
SP Engine and Golden West Service is it SP, SSW or another Railroad.
The SP is a UP Heritage unit. As to the GWS, I do not know.
@@MarkClayMcGowan The UP 6236 actually is a Southern Pacific unit that never made it to the paint booth! They hastily applied some UP renumbering and logos (Commonly called patching) and to this day it’s roaming around. Similar to the Santa Fe units you see on BNSF. She was delivered to SP in June 1995 as SP 257 and when UP acquired her during the merger they renumbered to 6236. Pretty amazing. Imagine the mileage on it after 30 years!
Kinda hung up on EMD, GE must be better.
Did you hear about the big train derailment àt the Arizona and New Mexico border? The train was hauling fuel and propane several cars exploded there was a evacuation
Yeah. Pretty dramatic. Fortunately, no one was injured and the damage was very limited. It could have been a lot worse.
Good day to you Mark: I am a subscriber!!
And a good day to you! Thanks for being a part of the fun!
