You can totally kill Grelod right in front of all the kids and you get no consequences. The kids arent snitches because theyre so happy haha. Even Constance only runs around screaming but doesnt rat you out

Why only play skyrim when you got Morrowind and Oblivion out thier
Personally, I'm not entirely sure it even IS possible to "beat" Skyrim. Or Oblivion. Or Morrowind.
Do every quest and delve every dungeon, then do it again with a different character and style. Then another. Then ANOTHER.
THEN.... mods.
I love how she doesn’t rush the quest line and takes her time not skipping dialogue

Aw I like cicero he’s definitely the only db member that stays true to the old commandments. fun fact if you have lucien lachance as a follower during that scene he’ll tell you not to kill cicero since it’ll upset sithis
he was also technically at the cheydinhal sanctuary in oblivion which is more traditional in its ways

I can't handle spiders either, I used to fight them with my eyes closed LOL. It took until my second or third play through to get used to them.

Deekus is the saddest kill for me. My mans was just chillin on his own little island and up comes this bloodthirsty assassin to slit his throat and leave his body to rot alone in the Sea of Ghosts :( R.I.P Deekus
For the Dark Brotherhood to kidnap you at the beginning, you don't have to wait for the courier, you just have to sleep somewhere other than Windhelm.
I don't think that's accurate. I fast traveled, waited a day, slept for another day, nothing. Then the courier finds me, I instantly pass out on a hobo bed and voila.

GTA exactly, that’s why I don’t use a companion most of the time, unless I can mod one to be quiet with custom follower tweaks

The whole Dark Brotherhood questline has references to Oblivion and Morrowind. The Spectral Assassin that you can summon is none other than Lucien Lachance, the Speaker of the Brotherhood in Oblivion (he even has a bunch of unique dialogue depending on where you are in Skyrim as well as certain Brotherhood quests) while that uniquely named Frost Troll has the same name of two separate frost trolls that you can kill in both Oblivion and Morrowind.
Skyrim will always be such a comfy game for me. Some of my fondest memories from my rocky childhood are watching my sister play whatever video game she was into at the time for literally hours. That to me was the simplest way we could bond, she would explain any concept to me I didn't get or we would sit quietly and enjoy the game. My oldest sister was super into it growing up and obv me being the youngest I also got into it ( natural little sister moment). Long winded but thanks for always making me feel better ❤️❤️

Oblivion was crazier. I remember killing Merchant guy, no idea who the Dark Brotherhood even was let alone didn't know they were even a thing, went to sleep and Lucien appeared to wake me up from a short nap.

fun story my first play through back in like 2012 when I got it I destroyed the dark brotherhood because I was playing a honourable nord Viking character I hit Astrid when she kidnapped me and I thought it was the more suitable option as i was playing a axe and shield build and stealth was a no. plus i didnt know how good the db quest was

I only do the brotherhood quest line for shadowmere since I often run from dragons on my horse 😭 although I always get stuck shortly after (spoilers for the quest line) Astrid dies because I literally don’t play with magic
I woke up and some guy is in my room telling me about how soundly I sleep for a murderer
I hate this questline. so much promise and it ends with the same few missions repeated and randomised forever
My favourite thing to do is put your long videos like this on, fall asleep, and if I wake up hopefully have the video to get back to sleep to

Weirdest thing happened while I was listening to this video! I was playing skyrim and my character is a hobo but i set up a bed in ivarstead beside a building and layed down and just closed my eyes and listened to the video, 5 minutes later the combat music came on and scared the crap out of me and i got arrested, not sure why.

8:06 That "bad plate" is has 100 value. 20 times that of a regular plate. It has the same base value as Garnet, a precious (albeit cheapest) gemstone. Flawless garments are 150. Amethyst is 120. Just saying. Sure he won't be buying daedric armor with it, but didn't sell it short*bad dum tiss*
