(Note - If a water dino is inside this trap and you move your raft it will goes out from the trap (both wild and tamed dino)!

Saw full video . The idea of having your base , both land and water dino taming pen on the same raft is pretty convinient and awesome . I love the design and the fact that it's all built on less and easy resources makes it outstanding . Thank you so much for bringing this video to us .

If you find a new way to build a taming raft it would be great. this way don't work anymore because you no longer can place a dino gate on a raft. At least on the official servers ...
Cryopods are they key now. You cab still build a taming raft, just without the gate. Nice big box for the dinos and a ramp to get them in there. Then, once taming is complete. Cryopod the dino and then release where and when you want.

I built on a roof tile before but all my stuff always get destroyed(standing torches). maybe because my raft got attacked.
The room space could use bigger or more storage cabinets but that's just my opinion great guide as always i still use your other raft vid in my solo👍 but i don't extend with eoof tiles.
I have one question, i really want to make this raft but if i do am i going to have an issue navigating the swamps and rivers especially in tight places and in the dark.
Right now my raft is 4 walls high and it's blocking my vision yours is two or 3 walls high shouldn't be a problem 😁.

@@gamingonex2 does the fireplace serve a function like heating? If so can i just put a bunch of wall torches and turn on the forge instead or do i have to build the fireplace on my raft to keep warm in snow biome?
I'm only asking because the 15 slots storage box is very limited and the corner where you put the fireplace can fit maybe two large atorage cabinets.

Yeah you can also use torches or forge instead of fireplace and it works!
And in this video I have put the items just for showing how many items you can place on your raft after building the raft!

Stone: ~6251
Wood: ~3264
Thatch: ~2278
Fiber: 23
Edit: I only calculated the number you need for the things marked in yellow, so I excluded the ones marked in white

@@gamingonex2 At 3:59, found a way to make it, have to put another row of stone ceilings on the right side of the orig foundations making the base a little more bigger.

Quick question, Could I do the raft just mirrored? Because by doing this the dino gate won't block your view as much when you're sailing.

If you properly place the structure you will not taking any damage, and place metal foundation at the sail point!

Can basilosaurus fit through Dino gate or giant hatch?
It cannot fit through dino gate but it might fit through giant hatch!!! (Not tested)

@@gamingonex2 so idk what I did wrong but it said I reached maximum number of structures so can’t put Dino gateway at bottom however waiting to get mroe engrams and I should be able to do the hatch instead.
I think you had already build more structures from different places in the map, you have to destroy the structures!

i copied the tutorial perfectly yet the access point for the raft is where the dinosaur is meant to be as shown in video yet when u ate taming the t. rex the access point moves and it looks to be a different type of raft, a more compact one so it seems the video is confusing, pls help, pause at 4:04 and 9:02 and you’ll see the difference i think the tutorial is wrong
The raft I have build in this video (with 2×3 trap), where we can access the raft by going inside the trap. But when trapping the rex, I have shown it with 2×2 trap, in this raft we can access the raft from the outside of the pen. So it's your choice what raft you build!
But building raft with 2×3 trap looks more better than 2×2 trap!
