  • I found this 16mm reel of film among my father's media collection. The footage was filmed by his father, Alando Bannerman Ballantyne. Notice how thin, fit, and homogeneous the Tucson population was back in the summer of 1937. Also notice how much more masculine American men were then compared now. America's glory days are gone. Tragic. What have we become? So called "diversity" is only good if the elements which comprise it are actually good. Not all cultural elements are equally good or lead to equally good outcomes.
