Very clever. Smart metaphors and funky drums. One thing I really love about Stanley Odd is that they will illuminate several different points of view in one song. You can hear the one you agree with, and then the other view, and then you may rethink your original opinion. I love it when that happens.
Saw you at the Queen's Baton Relay Concert and I write poetry myself, so love spoken word and been listening to you quite a bit. I find you interesting. Just noticed there's a play coming to the Assembly Rooms for the Edinburgh Festival, inspired by your written verse. It's called A Split Decision. Impressed x
Nice one stan amazing track brother heard it on sunny g radio and came to chek u out keep on tellin them son All the best to ya and im already tryin to spread the love for ya over here
This is even more relevant as of the last few days. The last verse in particular from "Britannia", since they think they can't let us have a currency union, and Westminster even came out and said that they may block independence completely, even if the majority of Scots vote YES.
It still to this day stuns me that despite the overwhelming SNP win in Scotland last year we still have a Tory government running Scotland I don't know how people think that this is OK and this is coming from a 15 year old.
we have a Tory govt cos the Tories cheated, 20+ are under police investigation for electoral fraud!! Scotland's independence is inevitable, Cameron will go down in history as the. PM who lost Scotland, Thatcher will be screaming in hell 👌😁 #oneclan #foreverYes
This is so undervalued. Clever, brilliant, and well-written.
I heard this on a tour bus in Scotland that our driver put on. I'm glad I could finally find it.
