Even I've criticized her past actions, the only difference being the fact that I'm actually willing to do a multiple hour long segment during a livestream to analyze the entire situation in a way that's nuanced instead of trying to make the narrative as black and white as possible.

This is still an argument for Nattie being irresponsible and reckless with her platform, not predatory or someone actively looking for children. There's a distinction that needs to be recognized regardless of how much you don't like Nattie, and the clear lack of nuance in these discussions is honestly depressing. There are so many valid criticisms you could make, but you choose to be hyperbolic and take things out of context because you don't care about being intellectually honest and rely on the fact that your audience isn't going to do any research on their own to determine whether or not what you're saying is true.

Yeah. Unless you are playing it with your child to have a bonding experience through the love of video gaming or the purpose of monitoring what they do it is definitely best not to play games or go on platforms for a targeted audience of children. But I would say the same for parents who allow their children to play games like GTA and COD online where there are adult themes and conversations. Children should really probably not be playing games with adults either. The whole thing is weird to me.
Like think of it this way. A 13 year old starts making gaming content. The game is GTA Online. Most people who enjoys gaming content these days would find it funny, adorable, and fun to watch. What I am asking is why is displaying inappropriate themes that an adult would go to prison for in the style of art through gaming not considered nearly as bad? The idea is still there, and the visuals are still present. Even the interaction is most cases. Don't get me wrong. I grew up playing M rated games. I still have a grip, but it has always made me wonder why (when online gaming became a reality) do adults and children interact in a game meant for a mature audience. Have you heard some of the things COD adults say to the "squeakers"? I'm talking fully grown men telling literal children to "S their D". Even though it is not intended most likely as an advance, the words still have literal meaning to them and presents that idea to a child still developing. I get the parents are responsible at the end of the day, but to me things should be a bit different.
And it really bothers me that adult sites have taken down warning banners and click here to enter if you are 18+. I know that didn't do much, but the principle was there at least. Now anyone can type in a site like that and bam all of it right there. Google same thing. All indexing sites. The problem is a lot bigger than just this one event. It is becoming out of control.
I am sorry I went on this tangent. I have seen too many things lately in this world that just don't seem to add up logically. Too many of these incidents and yet no real resolution to the bigger problem. There are too many unmonitored services out there. Chat apps, chat with strangers apps. I mean we all know these things exist because UA-camrs make those apps popular and know they have an audience with a demographic of children. They don't want to age restrict because they lose money. And guess who are the ones who want to have fun at sleepovers with friends and go on these apps because their favorite content creator endorsed it? Children with parents who do not parent. I hope it gets resolved someday, but at the same time not overstepping on our basic rights and privacy. Unfortunately... I do not think it is possible :(
