Thanks for your reaction. Dan has a vocal range of four octaves, and I confess when you said, "I hope he can reach the high notes," I literally laughed out loud in anticipation. Dan can (and does) sing everything from opera to metal, though his preferred genre is power / symphonic metal. You really should head down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed.

I just happened across your reaction to Dan Vasc and wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed it. Dan is a very skilled vocalist and performer with a 4 octave range and sings everything from metal to opera, ballads, movie and musicals, rock, etc. I don't know what Rachel's other recommendation is, but may I suggest his cover of I'll Make a Man Out of You from the Disney Mulan movie. It is fantastic and Jonathan Young has a short cameo along with other YT artists that adds to the fun. And, his high notes at the end are off the charts good. Thanks so much. I have subscribed and look forward to more. Oh, by the way, the audio on Dan's video was too low. Your audio was great. I had my sound on full blast and could barely hear it..

Thank you for reacting to the incredible Brazilian, Dan Vasc! Dan is first a power/symphonic metal singer with his own band, FEARLESS, that have one album of original music out called Chronicals of Ancient Wisdom.
Dan is most known for his huge catalog of solo covers. His metal covers of non metal songs are what have catapulted him in popularity on youtube.
He has full metal, and, just as many non metal songs, too, including pure clean accoustic ballads, musical theater, opera, and, a huge rock playlist of mostly 80s rock.

Another excellent collaboration from both artists. They turn a sad song into a metal anthem. I never saw the movie Titanic, didn't like it, but wow this made my day.

I agree, it totally ruined the video for me. Also, not a personal attack to you Matteh, but why a comment on the gender spectrum? What does that have to do with anything in this video from Dan?

If you love the high notes, you should try Tommy Johansson and his One Octave Challenge of You Raise Me Up. He's a Swedish metal singer with a sensational voice.

I basically enjoyed your reaction. I do agree with most of the others, that you needed to turn up the music quite a bit, and perhaps turn your own volume down a little--at least one or the other, and probably both. I haven't seen any of your other reactions yet, but I'll be checking them out. Another thing is that perhaps you might want to not talk OVER the people singing. Even though most of us would prefer that you'd listen to the entire song and THEN react, it's far better to stop the song at a few points here and there and react to a section, than to simply override the singers, which also means (in this case, at least) that you missed some movements and innovative expressions that might have answered some of your questions and thoughts, if you had just watched and listened a bit more attentively, all the way through.
I honestly did like your final assessment. There could possibly have been a LOT more TO it, but since you pretty much totally missed some of the nuances in Dan's & Garrett's version, you were a bit limited in far your assessment could go.

Just search for that title on YT. It's always fun to check out Caleb's videos. Not always, but usually, he draws the pictures that are the covers for the songs he does. He's a wonderful artist!
In that particular song, the men listed in the title (which I simply copied and pasted...that's how it looks under the video, when you watch it) are listed COMPLETELY backwards to the order in which they actually sing.
In other words, the first singer is Colm McGuinness. If you've never heard him sing before, you are REALLY in for a treat, if you do the reaction! The second singer is Dan Vasc. Wonderful! The third singer is Jonathan Young. Equally wonderful! The fourth singer is Thomas Sanders. Smooth. The final singer is Caleb Hyles. ALWAYS great!
The verses are soloed, as shown above, but all of the guys harmonize on the chorus, when it comes in after each verse. I think you will REALLY enjoy the mix, plus the way that Caleb highlights his drawing for each man, as each one begins his solo. Caleb is a true artist, in every sense of the word, and every single one of the singers is wonderful (including himself). I sincerely hope you do the reaction. 😀

@@mattehreacts -- We all understand that. Dan has over 1M subs now. We've all watched pretty much everything he has ever done (not just on his own channel)...over and over and over and over again. It's good that you put the link to the song in your Description, but...we who are already in love with Dan and his channel don't need the links.
Others DO, and if they can't hear or see what Dan is saying, singing, and/or doing, because you are overriding him, then they probably WILL just go and listen to the video itself, and not listen to the rest of your reaction.
We all enjoy watching and listening to reactions of Dan's music, by the MANY reactors whom we watch...but we also want to be able to HEAR and SEE what is being reacted TO. We wouldn't be here to sub to YOUR channel, if it wasn't for (in this case) Dan's version of the song.
We're not trying to be disrespectful to you. Instead, we are actually trying to make your channel more successful. You've been at this, evidently, for a little over four months. If you'd "listen" carefully to what has been said here, by people who have been watching reactors for YEARS, and who especially love Dan Vasc and his music which they've also watched for YEARS, your channel COULD grow by leaps and bounds. You can easily verify that, by looking for videos by other reactors, and see which ones are the most popular, and how their channels are truly prospering since they started reacting to Dan's videos, because they honor the artists they are reacting TO, in every way possible.
Dan, himself, has been presenting music on YT since Oct 14, 2006. He was born in October 1989, and just turned 34 years old this past October (2023). He's come a long way since he began, and he has learned a LOT...because he watches, listens, and learns. He also produces his own covers and videos BY HIMSELF. There is no middle man. He has well-earned the respect we all give him, and so have the other reactors who steadily present his works. If you want to be considered the same way (for ANY artist to whom you react...not just Dan), it would be good if you would listen to some valid advice, figure out the best ways you might be able to make a few changes here and there, and at least experiment with the suggestions given.
It's your channel, and obviously, you can do things any way you like. If you're hoping for success, and a longer existence, though, some very valid points have been made by those watching this reaction. Think on these things.
