Your handwriting is so beautiful and It’s amazing how no matter what you write ✍🏽 with it always beautiful!!! I love the color. Blues are always my favorite ❤
Love your channel. I just got this pen in the Chartes Blue yesterday and I adore it. I have fallen in love with Platinum and Sailor nibs. My #3776 Century writes so consistently page after page. Shading is lovely, but a pet peeve of mine is pens that vary greatly in their flow of ink on the page. This Platinum passes that test with flying colors. Mine is the soft fine nib. It is so bouncy and affords my cursive with a bit of character with no real pressure. Thanks for what you do and keep well.
Thank you for commenting. We have a lot of similarities in what we like in fountain pens. I’ve been hesitant in getting a soft dine in the Platinum pens mainly because of the bounce. I’m worried the variation would be to much for the writing I prefer. I think I would have to test it out first before pursuing the soft fine.
@@CarrotsOlives Yoseka has a very nice Platinum 3776 line width comparison video that might help. She compares the line without pressure (.01 mm) and with pressure (.05 mm). I’d be happy to show you a picture, but I’m not sure how that works here on UA-cam.
This video was great to watch! I’m such a beginner in the fountain pen world. I’m not on this level yet but your swatches are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I would put the 3776 nib up there with my favorites, esp the medium and the broad nibs. And it’s awesome that you can get the basic model of the 3776 for just a little over $100. I splurged on the LE Nice models, have the pink and the lavender, though I had problems with the lavender one, the plastic grip area cracked on not just one but on both that I purchased. Love this one you have, I’ve been looking at it online and am sooo tempted….
Extra fine? I have a fine, and it’s way too fine for me. I keep it because I think I might use it to draw with…but I find it unpleasant to write with, too dry, a little scratchy. Can’t even imagine an extra fine.
did you say what size nib this was? I usually try to see it in the writing sample, but I don't see it there, whenever I watch writing sample videos, I always look that the nib size is written down because that is such an important part of the video. Was there some reason it's not written down?
@@CarrotsOlives Try a little more relaxed hand, like holding a painting brush. The hand then tends to be a little higher... but in the end, its whatever way it fits you. Pens tend to write better the more relaxed the hand grip.
How did you learn to write so fancy? Watching videos? Is there a class? Seriously it’s such pretty handwriting

Very soothing video. I watched as I cooked tea. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That's a classy looking pen and ink combo. Nice!
Thank you
The pen and ink combo is gorgeous. 🖤

Oh darn… there goes my no spend for March! 😂😂
Lovely pen, and like others here, I love your handwriting. Thank you!!
What’s the nib? A medium?
Haha. Well I don’t think you’ll regret it! 😝
I have a big birthday at the end of March & my other half has got me this pen ❤ I literally cannot wait to try it!
Ooooh exciting! And happy early birthday 🥳

I totally agree! GET IT GET IT! :)
It sort of looks like a gray-sage-moss to me, beautiful color!
I can see that as well. It is quite pretty 🤩
This pen is on my wishlist
That pen writes like a dream! May I ask you, why in reverse? Does anyone actually write that way, or is it a test of the nib?
Reverse is useful when taking notes if one is writing subscripts or superscripts. I frequently use that way. 😊
Sold! I have an extra fine that I'm going to sell and bought this one. Thanks for your review 😊!
Hope you enjoy it!

How have you been enjoying this ink and pen? What nib is it? Thanks!
You make me want this

What size nib?

Your way of holding pen is appropriate for rollerball or ballpoint not for such a nice pen.
How do you suggest I hold it?

Pens tend to write better the more relaxed the hand grip.
