I love the 3776 a lot. I own five of them, including the celluloid Jade, Calico and Midnight Ocean. I need the Tortoise, too. Happy for you that you got this gorgeous celluloid Platinum for yourself.
New Sub. Love the vid. Love what you do. Great ideas ! My current fp's are a " few " Diamond Twsbi's. As well a MB 149, all with XF grinds. Just bought a Platinum 3776 Celluloid as shown in the vid. She arrives this coming week. So excited. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
Thanks for the heads up, Emma. I've been eyeing off one of these for about a year. What an awesome price! Arrived about a week ago. Has the characteristic camphor smell of celluloid inside the cap, so not likely to be dodgy. No one making dodgy ones would use actual celluloid (would they?) 🤞. The seam is a bit of a drawback, but after a while you forget it's there. Platinum makes the pens from celluloid sheets which they roll. European pen makers tend to use celluloid rods which they turn (on a lathe, I guess). There's no seam with that method, but it wastes some, maybe a lot, of the celluloid. European celluloid pens are very expensive and perhaps that's part of the reason why.
This is one of my top five pens. Though I have the medium nib bc that's my favorite. I've been looking at the lighter celluloid too; they're both so pretty!

Gorgeous pen! But you misspelled ‘celluloid’. Great ink choice!
