I bought that bag on Kickstarter a few years back and ended up returning it. My gear, which at that time was substantial, rolled around in it. I have long been a fan of smaller prime lenses, though my current GM lenses from Sony are not really small. As woman, I would probably not use the chest strap. I always go back to my Domke F4 AF PRO bag, yeah, it's a shoulder bag, but the things I've always appreciated about the Domke F4 AF Pro are the huge pockets and the space between the dividers inside. I tuck my batteries and ND filter in between the dividers, as well as a Swiss Army Knife. As a chick I carry a lot of extra junk beyond my now pretty minimal Sony kit. I've tried so many bags over the years, including all the Think Tank belt packs, the Shapeshifter, a bunch of Kata bags, and several backpacks, but for me, the F4 AF Pro is the HG.
Great review! I also own a lot of PD products including the V2 20L Everyday Backpack and the carbon fiber version of the PDTT (just watched your video of it a few minutes ago - another great review). At the 8:40 mark, you mentioned and show a lens accessory bag you attach at the bottom of the Everyday Backpack that holds your telephoto lens. Can you share what telephoto lens bag you use? I have a 100-400 lens I recently purchased I would love to take with me when I use my Everyday Backpack on hikes. Thanks a bunch!
If I get my hands on one I'll absolutely make a video on it! And I forgot to include it in this video I realize now but the 200-600 does fit inside the 20 l bag, just barely, in my review of the lens I have a small clip there showing it squeezing in
Are you referring to 10:30 ? Totally agree, it's the biggest downfall of the bag in my opinion I am also just a lil' risky with my lens handling, however I have yet to drop anything yet!
@@ShaneBethlehem yeah, the sequence during 11:10 , would it be better to save like the whole middle lane for the camera, so when you change lenses you could have one of the lenses rest in the middle lane? Had been seriously considering this bag, just don't know if it works for me
