Dean DeBlois is showing real promise to this perfect live action remake and knowing that he's writing and directing this, makes me happy to know that even if this is a shot for shot remake, How to Train Your Dragon is still in very safe hands. I'm already in love and can't wait to see this movie!

The dragons look amazing, we got new scenes including hiccup freeing toothless, the drawing maze, and more. The scenes also changed from the first trailer especially the lighting
Shortly after the first teaser was released, the director mentioned that while most of it is going to be the same as what we had before, some things are being changed. He didn't specify what was being altered however. On the flipside, had the original HTTYD director not gotten involved with the live-action we could be getting an absolute bastardization of the story instead.

First of all the redesigns of both Monstrous Nightmare and Deadly Nader or in this case Stormfly and Hookfang are insanely incredible very natural and realistic, second of all I love how the screen shook when Toothless jumped at Hiccup it gives a more natural and realistic way of showing how incredibly powerful and big he is, third of I love Toothless’s expression in the last shot you can clearly see he’s pleased about something and he’s smiling fourth of I absolutely can’t WAIT to see The Red Death in action this film it’s going to be phenomenal!

I expected the dragons like the Monstrous Nightmare would have the eyes close to one another and the Deadly Nadder with comically big mouth, I see them in this trailer and they look so beautiful. So excited see other dragons. Like the Gronckle with realistic bufff body and wings.
I have a lot of friends who say it's a money grab, that the story is the same, there's no point in watching it again...but you know what? I've watched this same cartoon hundreds of times and every time it moved me, I'm happy to be able to experience the emotion with different eyes rather than dying of shame with some innovative ideas that becomes another a flop to forget.
The first trailer I was skeptical, though I really liked the Toothless model. I am now quite excited now seeing the beautiful models and animations for Toothless, Stormfly and Hookfang! They are absolutely gorgeous!

I expected the dragons like the Monstrous Nightmare would have the eyes close to one another and the Deadly Nadder with comically big mouth, I see them in this trailer and they look so beautiful.
So excited see other dragons. Like the Gronckle with realistic bufff body and wings.

I have a lot of friends who say it's a money grab, that the story is the same, there's no point in watching it again...but you know what? I've watched this same cartoon hundreds of times and every time it moved me, I'm happy to be able to experience the emotion with different eyes rather than dying of shame with some innovative ideas that becomes another a flop to forget.

The first trailer I was skeptical, though I really liked the Toothless model. I am now quite excited now seeing the beautiful models and animations for Toothless, Stormfly and Hookfang! They are absolutely gorgeous!
Finally a studio than understands that if they’re making a like action adaptation of a movie, we just want the same thing shot by shot.

Yeah, me too. I also noticed that the lighting is different.
Fun fact: that scene was actually an animation mistake but it looked so good that the filmmakers and animators kept it in because it looked like toothless hesitated for a brief moment.
