    As soon as I heard this I could tell it was Elvis. There are many imitators, but there is one thing they could never and will never be able to imitate. When Elvis sang he had in his voice what I can only describe as loneliness. He was a very humble man and despite having many things in this world you could always sense his loneliness. His heart and spirit always seemed to be troubled. He will always be the best voice in this whole universe. We were blessed to have had him a true gift from God.

      This may simply be for the fact his twin didn't survive, in the womb together 9 months and a large part of him was now missing. I don't have a twin but the closeness of my double cousin and I was so significant that when she past at her age of 57, my lastv8 yrs have been my loneliest. Someone is missing, brings a huge loneliness even though we are not alone.

      🤣🤣🤣🤣 Please, get your ears tested. I have every studio recording that Elvis made, along with god knows how many concert recordings, and have listened to them countless times over the last 50 years. This isn't Elvis! Show me one official release by his record company that features this unreleased track. You can't because there isn't one, and that's because it isn't Elvis. Whatever vocal/sound expert they used to prove this is Elvis should be fired for the fraud that he is. If this was Elvis then I, as an Elvis fan, would be glad to have another recording to add to my collection, so I have no other reason to highlight the fact that it isn't other than I know it's not Elvis, and any Elvis fan worth their salt would know it too.

    I pray we will get to enjoy this wonderful song by Elvis . What a treasure that will be and to let you know just how much of a treasure it is ,my heart rate is about to explode and my temples are throbbing , my heart does its flip just like every time i listen to one of Elvis's songs. No imitator can cause that to happen to me. It is something I felt at the tender age of five years old and it happens only when Elvis sings! That is my Elvis !!!

    I do believe this is Elvis. One thing we all need to remember, is the technology then in the 70's is not like it is today. The tape was stored for along period of time, but nevertheless, I do remember reading somewhere in a book that Elvis had a musician or someone close to him who had wrote a song for him to record. Elvis read it, and agreed to record it. I believe this is it and the name mentioned sounds familiar. But we all have the right to believe as we wish.

  • @presleyrules
    @presleyrules 4 роки тому +18

    That's Elvis but not from the mid-70's. He sounded like this in the early to mid-60's. I've been listening to (and collecting) Elvis since 1965. I've heard many impersonators and, to be honest, the best they'll ever do is almost come close. As soon as I heard the 1st line in this song, I knew it was Elvis. For those who doubt it, consider how much of the King's material must still be in the vaults of RCA that was never released.

    If we could have heard enough of it we could have made a better decision but I think it's Elvis from the later 60's. I don't think this style was very popular mid 70's. I was and am a huge fan. Grew up listening to his music. Even got an autographed pic he sent me when I was 10 years old. I wrote to him thinking it wasn't really his address and really got an answer. One of my best life memories. 💖

    I strongly disagree with the comments saying that it wasn't Elvis singing that song. I draw comparison to his work from 1969 until his death. Fact: No one person can readily duplicate his voice. Many TRY only to fail. The voice is indeed Elvis, but the song will never see light of day because the master tapes are missing.

    I believe it is Elvis. He may not have been doing a ot of recording, but that doesn't mean he wasn't doing any recording. He did record an Ablum right near the end of his life(Moody Blue) 1977, this sounds much like those recordings. Maybe this was never polished up enough to put on that album or maybe it was cut because of no room. Perhaps it was to be on a future album but sadly he passed away first.. But, I believe this is Elvis.

      So tell us, smart ass, why hasn't this new song been released by Elvis' record company as a new song? For one simple reason. IT ISN'T ELVIS! Who gives a shit about what an expert examining sound waves says? I've listened to Elvis over a 40-year period, and know every cadence and nuance of his voice, and this singer is not Elvis. For god's sake, are you dimwits who insist that this song is by Elvis that tone deaf? Well you'd have to be if you think this is Elvis. It's not released as an Elvis song because - **drum-roll** - it isn't Elvis. As an Elvis fan of many year's standing, why would I deny a new song by him if it were him? Because I know full well that it isn't.

    Nothing like Elvis' music. There will never be another entertainer like him. Sorry his private life was so messed up. But then again, a lot of entertainers are. Sad that prescription drugs and other health issues took him way too soon. I have been a Elvis fan a long long time and it sounds like him to me. Hopefully it can be produced and released. Maybe you should read " Destined to die young". Elvis had MAJOR health problems from birth. There is WAY more to that story. His mom, Grandma Doll & 6 of his 8 uncles all died in their 40's. He took perscriptions to deal with his Genetic health problems, his enlarged paralyzed colon, Glaucoma, Antitrypsin Deficiency, a condition which can result in lung and/or liver disease both of which he had severely at the time of his death. Elvis was never a smoker or drinker. He had Together with the immune system disorder, hypogammaglobulinemia, which plagued Elvis all his life and caused him to constantly fight various infections. His “inherited” weak heart, reactive arthritis, and the impact of his nocturnal lifestyle, resulting in a lack of vitamin D, the effects of which contributed to respiratory infections, reduced immune function, and inflammation.
      Of the 11 bodily systems that operate to keep us alive and hopefully healthy. Critically, Elvis suffered disease or disorder in nine of them! And five were present from birth and pre his fame. His heart (circulatory system), his lungs (respiratory system), and his bowels (digestive/excretory systems) required medication. Insomnia affected his nervous system……His immune system was compromised. His urinary system was not functioning properly. At one point there was even talk of dialysis.
      Often he is dismissed as just another rock ‘n’ roll drug addict. He wasn't taking street drugs. He was taking perscriptions not to "ESCAPE" h was taking them to try to maintain some sense of normalcy as himself in a time where the medical field was limited. No DNA, Genetics, No MRI's, little known about the addiction, his dystrophy & No understanding of Vitamin D even.
      Looking at the illnesses and disorders, that mounted upon each other over the decades, it’s no coincidence that Elvis’ prescription drug use increased as his health declined. From ear infections to chronic tonsilitis to recurrent flus to eye infections and glaucoma…..these arguably insignificant ailments independently, grew into something more. As his body broke down, alongside multiple immune system disorders and genetic complications, prescription medication and his handy PDR tried to fill the gaps. When that no longer worked, hospital stays became the norm and his list of ailments grew.
      The sicker he got, the more prescriptions he was prescribed. He was seeing a cardiologist before he bought Graceland. He was 20yrs old. They have gone through Elvis's entire life of medical records & now have an entire different story now. This is all the facts Geraldo & 20/20 never stated.

    The guy recorded so much stuff at his house or on the road anything is possible. I still think there are tons of gems from the 50s they never released but knew he did record. It is easy in my opinion to imitate older Elvis but early Elvis takes skill. This could be him but I think it is an impersonator. Still, with Elvis as always anything is possible.

    Many impersonators have come close, some really close... but never that close!

    Nobody can sing a elvis song start to finish and sound exactly like him the best impersonators that I've heard is jahny harra and doug church and they can't sing word for word like him. Until I hear the full song I can't realy comment about this one but he is still alive and still singing. Living his life his way in peace away from the media

      Linda Hood Sigmon this is not Elvis it’s a impersonation of him ! I’ve been listening to him since I was 5 years old and trust me this is not him ! Elvis voice is way to high for a recording that he did in 1976 and it’s possible at sometime he thought about recording the song or they were trying to get Elvis to record it but sorry this s not him 100 percent and I would bet 10 thousand dollars on it!

    As someone who studies Elvis' voice, I have to say that sounds exactly like him. Even the best Elvis impersonators can't get his voice exactly. I have no doubt that's Elvis.

      Proven by any real fan the instant they heard it. Oh, and Elvis Presley Enterprises. It was a demo tape of a song to be possibly recorded by Elvis, they're quite common. No real Elvis fan could consider it to be Elvis, especially in 1976. His voice sounded nothing like this "younger" Elvis here. Oh, and the fact that nothing's been heard about the song since 2011 should tell you something! Finally, the attorney Hinton who brought this to light is a relative of a Dr Hinton who was involved in a major "Elvis is alive" scam from years ago. Total con job. Every day of Elvis' life in 1976 is documented: he hadn't set foot in a recording studio in 18 months, and never would again (except to record at Graceland itself). It's not Elvis. End of story. If you think it's Elvis, then you're either not a fan, or a casual fan at best.

    • @artboy181
      @artboy181 8 років тому +1

      I disagree. I listen to Elvis all day, every day because I'm a huge fan. I also am a musician and like to impersonate his voice, so I have studied it a lot. I think it sounds exactly like his voice. I'm not saying it is Elvis, because I can't be sure, but if it isn't then props to the impersonator because it's spot on.

      You're clearly not a real fan if you think that's Elvis, especially from 1976. I've been a fan close to 50 years. Once again: this song was PROVEN to be a hoax back in 2011. End of story.

    Could have been Roddey Mcdowel. Who did the song, 'The King is gone" right after Elvis' death. But the song is cut so many times in this video it never gets to a chorus to hear if any of his backup singers were in this. So I'm thinking by not letting the chorus be heard they are just trying to keep the dust blowing around that Elvis might still be alive or to keep his memory going. Elvis needs no help being remembered. Not another on earth like him. Before or Since.

    Agreed! I can think of a few different scenarios. One: This is before 1976 and was for some reason deemed not good enough to be released. It definitely is not 1976 or later. Two: It's a demo for Elvis, using someone with similar vocals to allow Elvis or RCA to better imagine how the song could work for Elvis. Three: It's just an impersonator.

    Where did Albert Lee and Jimmy Crane get the recording from? What recording session is this from? There were only two recording sessions in 1976: February and October.

    The reason this won't be released has nothing to do with who owns the rights to it, it's because they wouldn't want to see so many people be so negative about it. Like he said, there are many good impersonators but you can never completely copy someone. I wish we could have heard the impersonator's voice. I could claim to be an impersonator but would probably sound more like a woman singing off key in a white costume. Probably because that's what I would be! :P
