There is new tech which had become available which I am going to EMAIL tater about. There are companies for a fee who will run a cable to your property, (for a few dollars extra they can put it underground). This cable somehow is able to provide electric to your home rain or shine and get this, no solar panels or batteries needed. I am not kidding. It has the capability of handling temperatures from way below freezing to very hot without extra hardware. Over the life if this cable you don't have to worry about battery cells going bad. I know this is new so it may not be known to him yet.
I too have this electricity thing running to my house. Last year it went out for a whole 2 hours. All year! Must not be reliable enough for the nomads though
Tater said it would cost $25,000 to pull in the electric from the road. That doesn’t sound right.

My theory with the Tracker "truck" fallout was that his Patreons were expecting him to buy a real truck after fussing about needing a truck during a live stream begathon and they were disappointed when they saw the Packer.

I saw photo of him standing in front of a large solar cell array . There is no way they gifted him those batteries for just a plug from NF. Highly doubt that most of any YT subscriber could afford to buy these batteries. They are very expensive. Just like Timothy Baker, NF's channel is going down. You see more RV fires in the nomad communities and I think they try to put too much power on them. I would agree with you .

Nor am I an expert, but, some states are beginning to regulate that RV's, mobile homes etc. will only be allowed to have these onboard if they are located in a dedicated, firewalled, sealed space. Lithium itself is very unstable once it is processed. The juice/liquid/gel used in the cells is highly flammable. Not only that, the batteries are susceptible to fire/explode from extreme temps, high or low. Tater hasn't even considered the excessive heat factor in his tiny tater shak, he's too focused on keeping the batteries warm during cold weather months. That mindset will backfire on him. Just the use, the charging of the batteries creates heat, it's inherent of lithium ion technology. Unfortunately this is our future. The attempt is to replace all that pollutes for new sources/technologies for our energy needs. The extraction of lithium from the earth and the subsequent processing of it is a very environmentally destructive act in itself. And guess what, lithium is not unlimited. It will run out eventually. We are simply trading one bad apple for another. Electric cars with exploding batteries are not the answer.

Heated Lithium batteries have been out for years. Just watch Will Prouse videos, and he's always going on about which have them or not. Tater is giving bad advice, as it would be cheaper and better for people to buy 48V batteries when wanting 48V, than to buy 12 volt type, and wire them up. House hold 48V are becoming the cheaper option.
When doesn’t Tater give bad advice. He never gets it right.

A lot of these companies do reach out to channels that have enough subscribers. It doesn't mean they are big or important channels, just that the company realizes there will be enough eyeballs of whatever demographic they are targeting watching the videos to justify giving a free promotional item to the youtuber and some coupon code they can give out to their viewers for a discount (incentivizing the youtuber to sell the product).
I've seen much smaller channels than Eric's get sponsored by power bank companies, solar panel companies, and all the other usual crap too. There are cases where youtubers might reach out to a company in hopes of scoring some free crap, getting a discount code they can use when hocking the free crap, and then some of them even sell the free crap on ebay (Mikey?) or give it away, garnering good will or "favors" from others
